Job Responsibilities:

Operate assigned welding equipment with full knowledge of its capabilities and applicable welding codes; perform machine setup and routine maintenance.
Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and data entry while maintaining the required Weld Earned Hour Ratio.
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to transport materials safely and efficiently.
Education:
High School diploma, or GED, preferred.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
Solid knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
Proficient in using hand tools such as tape measures, squares, protractors, and grinding/arc gouging equipment.

Purpose:

Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures with limited re-work or customer dissatisfaction.
Experience with the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR™ or other computer-based diagnostic repair tools preferred.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
Valid driver's license required; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) and forklift license preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
