The salary is nice, Mon- Friday and every third weekend
Chaotic med carts with bubble packs, pill packets (often mislabeled or with pills for am and afternoon passes), bottles of patient's personal meds, and "house meds". You are expected to just remember who gets what to make it through the day (which feels impossible). Several med passes you need pills from several sorces to administer the correct dose for one medication. It feels like the other nurses want new nurses to fail. EVERYONE is constantly gossiping, talking badly about eachother, and whispering around the corner. Narcs are store on the cart the cart and have no sure way to track their use. All back up Narcs are in a back room with a weak cabinet lock that doesn't get locked properly often. And "med counts" between nurses is a joke. Very unsecure. The training process there is also an absolute joke.
Absolutely nothing, every single day is misery. Only joy is probably being the only person that actually cares about the residents
