Job Summary The Excess Casualty Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing underwriting data in order to determine if risks meet corporate underwriting standards calculate appropriate premium and determine proper terms for acceptable risks and respond to brokers when risks do not meet underwriting guidelines. Underwriters are also responsible for developing and maintaining profitable business relationships with brokers.
