Job Summary: A Delivery Driver is responsible for customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Driver should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. The Delivery Driver should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent experience. They should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Practice Responsible alcohol delivery service standards as set forth by state law, regarding ID verification as well as any specific Delivery System ID Technology required. Follow all traffic and parking laws Operate the Delivery System Ensure customer satisfaction Transport items in a safe and timely Manner Polite and Prompt with a commitment to provide customers with an excellent experience Be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled Committed to work safety Loading, transporting and delivering items to customers in a safe, timely manner Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied. Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles. Provide excellent customer service, answer questions and handle complaints from customers. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries. Operating equipment such as cars. Requirements Qualifications, Education & Experience: Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid US driver's License Covered under the insurance for the car you are using to drive Acceptable Driving Record via MVR ran by TWG BRL, LLC's Liability Insurance Company to be added to the insurance umbrella as a means for supplemental insurance. Ensures the smooth, accurate, and consistent flow of materials and equipment to and from the line from designated locations. Duties and Responsibilities Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following Buckhorn policies and OSHA standards. Maintains and utilizes all documentation required. Ensures all product transfers are performed properly and accurately to and from designated locations. Ensure timely removal/delivery of product to/from the production line. Reports all incidents & accidents immediately to leadership. Participation in 5S program to ensure a clean and operational facility. Safe operation of a forklift and various attachments. Escalate issues as needed to department leadership.Completes other duties as may be assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); required Previous warehouse and/or shipping experience; preferred Forklift certification; preferred Ability to communicate in a positive & clear way with team members and peers. Ability to accept change and adapt to organizational change and shifting priorities. Barcode and handheld scanner experience; preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees of our organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to do two mathematical operations to arrive at the solution. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
