Summary
As architect in a design-builder's pre-construction team under supervision of the Pre-Construction Manager, performs administrative and professional architectural work by managing projects from pre-construction through completion of each project. Responsibilities

1. Perform professional architectural work thorough building design stages, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding, and Construction Administration.
2. Meet clients, understand objectives and create schematic design of site layout and buildings as coordinating with preconstruction teams.
3. Lead design development of architectural design and coordinate with internal and external design and engineering team to develop required civil, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and other documents required for estimation.
4. Coordinate with internal preconstruction team and trade contractors to explore value engineering ideas during bid stage.
5. Plan and prepare construction documents of awarded projects for all of required permits, including permit applications, follow-up documents on permit review progresses, as communicating with permit authorities.
6. Receive permits upon approval and submit Check Request (Urgent Pay Request) to Accounting for associated fees according to Urgent Pay Request procedures.
7. Maintain construction documents updated during construction and as-built documents afterwards.
8. Oversee the documents of consultants (outside engineers and architects if applicable) for accuracy and assurance of compliance to our standards.
9. Maintain an up-to-date file or library of sample materials and catalogues.
10. Attend project meetings if necessary for construction administration.
11. Review submittals to architects from engineers and contractors. Educate subordinates with exceptional knowledges on all aspects of design, engineering and construction for pre-construction and construction.

Our Client is looking for an expert Cognos Resource. This person will not write reports; but will help Client determine how to set up Cognos with their Oracle data warehouse. Client is planning a 1,500-query user implementation, with about 100 report developers. In the current data warehouse, Client has about 600 tables, including about 300 code tables. These tables are made available to data warehouse users in about 50 data models. The largest tables contain over 20 years of history and exceed 100 million records. The current reporting tool includes about 2,000 reports in 400 documents. Client will rebuild about 4,500 existing reports in Cognos.
Qualifications
• Suggest the best time to set up data marts, cubes, and dashboards (before go-live or after), given constraints on scope, resources, time, and quality.
• Work with Client staff on these topics and provide on the job training and mentoring to them, both teaching Client staff and coaching them as they do this work on their own.
• Make sure Client is on the right foundation and sets up data marts, cubes, etc. appropriate to most effectively and efficiently meet business requirements, recommend how to set up security, how to deploy reports, how to more efficiently run reports, do tuning and indexing, etc.

Your Role
Seeking a K-12 Leader to join the team in Cleveland, Ohio (full-time). This position is for a degreed architect-licensed or actively pursuing licensure-with 10+ years of architectural experience and a strong focus on K-12 school projects.
As a Client Leader, you will:
Drive business development, manage client relationships, and lead contract negotiations.
Educate clients on the design process while collaborating with project managers to ensure the financial success of each project.
Maintain consistent client contact, foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensure client goals are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Present design concepts and assist with production of high-quality construction documents for competitive bidding.
Provide ongoing project support during bidding and construction, including occasional evening/weekend meetings and periodic travel to client sites.
Required Qualifications
Accredited degree in Architecture; licensed or on the path to licensure.
10+ years of architectural experience with a strong focus on K-12 school projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage school projects through all design and construction phases.
Working knowledge of OFCCP regulations and the Federal Contractor Compliance Manual (FCCM).
Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA, and educational planning standards.
Proficiency in BIM 360/Revit and familiarity with design software such as Microsoft 365, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Lumion, and Enscape.
