GENERAL PURPOSE
Performs a variety of general maintenance duties as need and the upkeep of the City Buildings

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for performing light Maintenance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- General commercial building maintenance as directed.
- Provide general plumbing, carpentry, minor HAVC, and electrical service.
- Procurement of materials as directed by client and inventory management.
- General repair service (walls, fences, ceilings, doors, etc.)
- Notifying management of need for repairs.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and daily activities while meeting timelines.
- Must be able to develop and maintain a good working relationship with seniors, peers and subordinates. *Must have good client/customer service skills.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workloads.
- Must be able to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written or verbally) with peers and supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Education and Experience:

Graduation from high school
AND - Six (6) months of experience

Graduation from high school
- Work Environment:
Tasks may require lifting, reaching, carrying up to 40 pounds. Moving items over 50 pounds utilizes a team lift.
Communicating, seeing, hearing, talking is essential to job effectiveness.
