What We're Looking For: Education: High school diploma or GED required. Respond to, prioritize and complete assigned work orders via the CMMS work order tracking system. Monitor and ensure compliance with the preventive maintenance program. Make adjustments and additions/deletions to system as required. Coordinate work activities of contractors & outside vendors, and assist them with isolation of building systems as necessary and monitor their workmanship. Respond immediately and effectively to ensure building occupant safety in all emergency situations including fire, evacuations and equipment failure. Daily coordination and communications with Property / Facility Manager and/or Building Engineer regarding maintenance issues, work orders, budgets and tenant relationships. Coordination and communications with Day Porter / Janitorial Staff as necessary. Daily coordination and communications with tenants, customers and building occupants. Be available and on-call weekends and after hours for scheduled and emergency maintenance functions. Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives as relates to building operations and practice safe work habits. Be courteous, neat, clean, and in proper uniform; always representing the Company in a professional, moral, and ethical manner. Responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of parts and supplies needed for the continuous operation of the facility. Job Requirements/Qualifications and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have minimum of 5 years building maintenance experience and commensurate with position being filled (i.e. high rise building, low rise, Building Engineer, Lead Maintenance Technician or assistant) Ability to lead team members and work independently. Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer, handheld communication device and have knowledge of CMMS software such as 360 Facility (Rediworks) Basic knowledge and experience with pneumatic & DDC controllers and computerized building automation systems. Great communications ability, both verbal and written. Ability to interact with co-workers, tenants, contractors, and the general public in a positive and professional manner. A boiler, refrigeration operator's license, or EPA 608 Universal Certification is desired but not generally required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Possess competent knowledge on the methods, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment and building systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Physical requirements include climbing, stooping, and frequently lifting 50 pounds or more. The Computer Build Technician based at our Hilliard area integration center is responsible for the assembly, quality assurance, and packaging of desktop computers. This position is a warehouse/labor/production-oriented role. The ideal candidate would have experience in a production environment, with the ability to work well with their hands, along with the ability to use basic tools. At this time, only local (Columbus, OH area) candidates will be considered. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * New computer system assembly in accordance with established guidelines; station assigned by the lead build technician or the department manager. * Primary duties include basic build, prep, and pack of computers and computer products. * Ensure quality and consistency between units. * Move system components in and out of the assigned area per guidelines. * Verify the parts ordered for repair or utilized in the new build are the correct SKU and quantity prior to receiving; communicate any discrepancies to the lead build technician or the department manager in a timely manner. * Properly clean and pack finished computers in boxes and stack them on a pallet according to instructions and standards. * Assemble accessory kits with the proper components as listed in the guidelines for that model system. * Other related duties and tasks as assigned by management. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent * Experience building and troubleshooting desktop computers * CompTIA A+ certification is preferred, but not required * Physical requirements include the ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. and to stand all day.
