The Building Tech II - Electrical (intermediate level) is responsible for maintenance and repair of electronic components and equipment and ensure equipment is running correctly. Refers to schematics and performs visual inspections for basic problems. Uses diagnostic equipment to pinpoint malfunctions. Once identified, defective components are repaired or replaced.

Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.

Diagnoses electrical system performance through observation, testing and setup as required by trade/position. Performs aerial, electrical and lighting installations to include energized electrical work. Performs planned maintenance and inspections as indicated in the service agreement. Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment, testing and metering devices.

Completes service contracts, quoted projects and demand service calls while maintaining profitability. Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.

Participates in technician on-call-stand-by rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures.

Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets requirements of company vehicle driving policy, and adheres to all company safety requirements.

Completes documentation of invoicing data based on hours worked and materials/equipment used to complete the service.
Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle. Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers. Uses technology/software to create and modify programming such as graphics, data bases, sequences, etc.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Two-year technical degree in related field is preferred. Maintains required registrations, professional licenses and/or certifications as required by the position.
Required in Texas: Electrical Journeyman License. 2-5 years of experience as a Service Technician. Required: Electrical installations and troubleshooting skills to include: lighting installations, aerial lighting, and energized electrical work. Must be able to read schematics and blue prints. Diagnostic ability as demonstrated through prior experience and/or training. Performs as self-managed individual. Professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capability. Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.

We are looking for a Battery Build Technician to join our world-class team. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination.
The Role:You will build complex EV battery packs following specific instructions, both written and verbal Perform electrical tests on low and high voltage systems to ensure proper functionality of battery packs Clearly document all anomalous findings and required information during engineering builds Work with engineering teams to highlight problems and streamline build processes Opportunity to support Arizona factory bring up and Formula E trackside support
Qualifications:Experience in building, testing, and troubleshooting HV battery packs or similar Working understanding of basic electrical principals Thorough understanding and experience in using precision resistance measurement equipment (Hioki), high potential electrical testers (Hipot), digitial multi-meters, and CAN bus communication Can maintain an impeccably organized workspace while meeting aggressive deadlines Strong understanding on proper handling of lithium cells, modules, and packs Familiar with electrical hazard risks including high voltage systems Is able to diagnose problems and perform root-cause analysis activities to a basic degree. Minimum of 3 years of electrical, mechatronic or automotive technician experience
Preferred:ASE Certification2-3 years of experience in building HV batteries.
Education:Minimum: High School Diploma with significant relevant professional experience Preferred: Technical or Vocational Degree or Certificate

You complete fibre infrastructure installations in multiplexed building, providing exceptional customer service and quality work. You enjoy working with technology and leading a team. Essential Responsibilities:

Install Fibre Optic cabling and associated infrastructure into multi-tenant buildings Drive to and from customer locations in order to complete your work Performing installation of wiring in commercial and/or mixed-use buildings; Fibre, Coax, CAT 5 and CAT 6Trains and leads new workers on day to day work practices and procedures Complete structured wiring, utilizing a variety of wiring technologies Install Raceways, Distribution hubs etc.Fusion splice fibre cable where necessary Test fibre cables with light meters to ensure acceptable path and attenuation Interact with customers, tenants, and landlords in a professional and courteous manner to ensure work completed Troubleshoot technical issues during the installation Utilize handheld tools Follow direction of supervisors and team leads Work both indoors and outdoors as necessary to complete the work Ensure vehicle (if assigned one), test equipment and tools are maintained in excellent condition Adhering to company safety working practices

Qualifications

Previous experience working in construction, civil construction or landscaping is an asset Capable of using power tools for drilling purposes Experience working with Fibre optics and splicing is an assetA strong technical aptitude Ability to manage a physically demanding position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, working at heights and in confined spaces Must be computer savvy, able to handle multiple computer applications Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Maintain a valid provincial driver's license (Class 5) and must provide a driver's abstract annually Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record (unless you have a legitimate recognized medical or religious reason for not getting vaccinated)
