Building Tomorrow was founded in 2006 since then , young people across the US have raised over $600,000; empowering communities in Uganda to donate 30 acres of land and volunteer over 200,000 hours of labor to build schools for their children. Once opened, Building Tomorrow academies are public, government schools; staffed and funded long-term by the Ugandan Ministry of Education. Today, Building Tomorrow has eight open academies and five under construction; each providing learning space for 325 children.
