The Field Service Technician, reporting to the ONE BHS Service Manager, delivers superior and timely service support to customers worldwide while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction in the industry. This position provides technical support for all system components including computer, robotic, electro-mechanical components, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Additionally, this position is responsible for warranty support, customer training, site inspections, customer expedited service and parts solutions for project installations. This is a remote role where the HQ are located in Oregon or Tennessee with up to 80% travel as required.
Key Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Technician will:
Travel up to 80% of the time domestically and internationally, both by air and car
Troubleshoot, perform repairs and modifications on mechanical, electrical, or software aspects of equipment at customer sites
Remotely monitor NRT systems to ensure optimal product operations at customer sites
Interface with customers on-site to deliver product and service training
Document all customer related activity including installations, preventive maintenance, and service visits. Will also close all issues prior to departing a customer's location and ensure any next steps are identified for follow up
Assist in the start-up, installation, and testing of new equipment
Instruct personnel at customer sites on the safety, proper operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment to improve efficiency and customer productivity
Assist with the development and maintenance of technical documentation including operator's manuals, service manuals and training materials
Capture and provide feedback to R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing groups to improve product performance and serviceability
Provide after-hours and on-call support when assigned
Complete other duties as directed
Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred
3-5 years' experience in a technical role or field service role involving electrical and mechanical systems (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Working knowledge of TCP/IP network infrastructure, routing, and general Ethernet topology
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel required
Previous experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting automation equipment preferred but not required
Experience with robotics, specifically ABB, a strong plus
Excellent customer relations and interpersonal relations skills including a high degree of diplomacy
Command of the English language required, and bilingual is a plus
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing to various audiences

Position Summary:
The Site Operator is responsible for the preparation of project sites.
Position Responsibilities:
Excavate trenches for plumbing installation up to 4' in depth.
Backfill trenches with spoils and approved backfill material.
Concrete prep and placement for pole light bases, sidewalk repairs, concrete encased trenches, transformer pads, generator pads, and interior housekeeping pads.
Review submittals and utilize them to perform layouts and coordinate with other trades.
Identify and create RFI's.
Manage multiple projects and schedule tasks accordingly.
Schedule and participate in inspections.
Coordinate and schedule OUPS.
Ability to instruct and train workers to excavate, backfill, and install underground conduit and finish concrete.
Maintain a clear understanding of the latest edition of the NEC responsibilities that pertain to underground electrical conduits.
Generate high-quality work in alliance with the vision and mission of Romanoff Electric.
Work to establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the construction schedule for a given project.
Organize and coordinate all the project materials and equipment for each task.
Read and interpret specifications, contract documents, and plans, and prepares sketches of proposed work as well as producing layout drawings and code calculations for projects.
Analyze and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise and ensure that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected on time.
Conduct quality inspections on project sites.
Coordinate with all other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Required: High school diploma or GED.
Required: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an operator and concrete finisher.

In this full-time position (30-40 hrs/week), you will closely collaborate with the engineers of our Energy Efficiency team. Your tasks will include data analysis and organization, market research, energy savings calculations and methodology development, and engineering project implementation support in service of Energy Solutions' mission to mitigate climate change.
Your work will have a direct impact on our future projects and our current stakeholders. In one avenue, you'll develop a midstream product roadmap for agricultural, industrial, and building envelope domain areas. In another, you'll develop measure tables for existing and potential clients for industrial, agricultural, and building envelope measures. Finally, you'll develop savings calculation spreadsheets for industrial and agricultural measures. These three separate but complimentary deliverables will bolster your experience using your energy efficiency measure calculations in the real world, deepening your applied research on certain sectors of the energy efficiency industry, and using your market potential analysis for energy efficiency market segments.
Your skill gains won't be limited to the engineering department! You'll also be exposed to projects in other departments which tie directly into your engineering work. You'll also collaborate with the P&R (Policy & Ratings) department to learn about potential codes and standards which may impact those measures.
