Summer employment typically runs from May through November, but exact dates may vary based on funding, weather, project needs, and visitation levels. DUTIES:
* Performs all miscellaneous general labor related to area maintenance.
* Performs manual labor in the functions of lakeshore cleanup, including trash pickup, cleaning toilets, and trimming vegetation.
* Assists in pumping toilets.
* Performs simple repairs to building and structures using simple hand tools.
* Carries paints, ladders, prepares and hand paints simple surfaces such as buildings, docks, and road signs.
* Irrigates and trims trees and shrubs, operates sprinkler systems.
* Cleans, sweeps, and mops comfort stations and other buildings.
* Collects trash from roads, campgrounds, picnic areas and beaches.
* Performs all miscellaneous general labor related to area maintenance.
* Loads and unloads equipment and supplies.
* Drives light vehicles/pickups.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry heavy maintenance materials. Must be able to walk, climb up ladders and down manholes, crawl, bend, and have use of both arms and both hands. Must be able to hear, see and speak.
Working Conditions: Must be able to work in desert conditions in temperatures in excess of 100° F. Works in all weather conditions. May experience paint fumes, sawdust, grease, oil and cleansers. Job Summary:

Qualifications:

Proficient in interpreting and documenting technical findings from examinations.
