In particular, the Program Administrator will work with Professor David Rowitch, MD, PhD to promote cutting edge transcriptomic and proteomic analysis for insights into human diseases.
The Research Program Administrator works with the Principal Investigator or Department Head to coordinate all aspects of building a research program. This will included, development of infrastructure, overseeing clinical research staff, quality assurance, and coordination of grant activities and grant proposals. Administrator will identify improvement areas, prepare policies, train staff, and audit procedures to create an efficient clinical research program
What are the Primary Duties and Responsibilities?
With the Principal Investigator or Department Head, coordinates all aspects of building a research program including the development of infrastructure and new research programs.
Oversees an entire research program or group of Clinical Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Assistants, Clinical Research Associates, and/or Research Nurses.
Oversees research Quality Assurance and Quality Control within their department or division.
Coordinates grant activities pre award through closure (monitoring budgets, compliance, progress reports).
Identifies process improvement areas to assure an efficient and robust clinical research program.
Data compilation, assists with grant proposals, protocol development, scientific publication preparation, and presentations.
May train junior research staff members.
Involved in centralized activities such as auditing and preparation of clinical research policies and standard operating procedures.
Ensures compliance with all federal and local agencies including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and local Institutional Review Board.
Maintains research practices using Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Maintains strict patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and applicable law.
Participates in required training and education programs.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Five (5) years of directly related experience required.
Certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA) preferred.
Ability to use discretion and maintain privacy, confidentiality or anonymity.
Previous laboratory manage experience preferred.
Familiarity with bio-repository management, direct report management, research administration, and business operations/financial management strongly preferred.

The successful research pathology candidate will be primarily involved in designing and building patient cohorts for research projects, pathology annotation, and generating reports for various research projects. The role involves customer-focused support for internal and external research users, providing technical expertise, guidance, and training. Qualifications
Education:

Qualifications:
Must be eligible to drive on the Uber app (no suspensions from the Uber platform).
Must be 25 years of age or older.
Must have a valid California Driver's License with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience in the United States.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must have a clean driving record.
Fluent in English.
Physical Requirements:
Able to communicate verbally and follow directions from our Driver Support team.
Comfortable with navigational apps (Uber driver app, Google Maps, emails, web browsing).
Capable of entering and exiting the vehicle consistently to assist customers with their luggage.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Able to sit for extended periods.

Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations

Summary:
The Case Manager RN coordinates and facilitates patient care across the healthcare continuum, ensuring optimal use of resources and improved patient outcomes. They assess patient needs, develop comprehensive care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care.
Essential Work Functions:
Assess patients' medical, psychosocial, and functional needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and case managers, to develop patient-centered care plans
Develop and update individualized care plans, aligning with patient goals and clinical guidelines
Coordinate transitions of care, ensuring seamless services and resources across the continuum of care
Facilitate communication between patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and insurance requirements
Advocate for patients' preferences, addressing barriers to care and promoting equitable access to services
Conduct utilization reviews and manage length of stay, ensuring adherence to evidence-based guidelines for care delivery
Educate patients and families on health conditions and available community resources
Document case management comprehensively and accurately in the patient's medical record
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
