However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned. The Chemist I is responsible for testing and reviewing data using qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis. You must ensure compliance with established laboratory standards to determine proper resolution of out of specification issues based on historical trends. Your duties include interacting with fellow laboratory team members to provide seamless support across all shifts and troubleshoot laboratory equipment while keeping appropriate logs and documentation. * Duties and Responsibilities: It is everyone's responsibility to live out our Values and Absolutes by Shaping a World of Trust while ensuring responsible progress. * Test and analyze test data to determine the release of raw materials, components, bulk, and finished goods in a timely manner. * Use of qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis such as gas chromatography, infra-red spectroscopy (F.T.I.R), wet chemistry analysis, separation analysis, titration techniques. * Operating Karl Fischer automatic titrator. * Operating multiple instrument-specific software platforms. * Ensure compliance with established laboratory standards. * Determine proper resolution of out of specification issues based on historical trends. * Ability to effectively communicate with management and clients, both written and verbal. * Ability to troubleshoot sample, method, or equipment outages and to think critically and provide solutions. * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced, agile environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication required. * Familiarity and comfort with electronic software systems including Microsoft products, spreadsheets, communication platforms including conference, messaging, and email systems. * Strong interpersonal skills such as relationship building, initiative, positive attitude, and team building. * Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively, both written and verbal. * Ability to manage time and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced lab setting. * Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. * Accurate data management, sorting and interpreting * Adheres to Company Values * Education and Experience: * Bachelor's or Associate degree in Chemistry or science related field required. * 1+ years of experience working in a laboratory setting preferred. * Experience in an FDA or cGMP regulated environment preferred. * Experience in a scientific, analytical, or regulated environment is a plus. SHIFT G- 6am-6pm Th, Fri, Sat every other Wed What a typical day looks like: Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing following approved SOPs and protocols. Prepare buffers, solutions, and test materials for PCT activities. Execute customer-defined test designs and accurately record lab results. Generate and maintain electronic and paper-based lab documentation in compliance with GDP. Operate laboratory equipment (precision balances, small volumes, vacuum systems, YSI). Support lab investigations (OOS/OOT), CAPAs, and audit readiness. Maintain lab readiness, inventory control, 5S, and GMP conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to EHS and Safety-First standards. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field. 2+ years of laboratory experience, preferably in medical or regulated environments. Strong attention to detail and experience with lab documentation systems (electronic and paper-based documentation systems) Comfortable working with small volumes, precise measurements, and lab equipment.
