We are seeking an experienced, proactive ABA Scheduler to lead scheduling efforts across our behavioral health programs. This individual will play a key role in driving efficient operations by managing daily scheduling needs, scheduling assessments resolving conflicts, and creating long-term scheduling solutions for both clients and staff. A successful candidate will be a strong communicator, a team-oriented leader, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Scheduler will work closely with parents, Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, Supervisors, trainers, and the recruitment/onboarding team to ensure that newly hired staff are successfully matched with clients. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to improve processes while providing a high level of customer service to both internal teams and client families.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day scheduling operations, including real-time adjustments due to cancellations, staff changes, or client needs
Scheduling assessments in-clinic
Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, technicians, clinical supervisors, and internal departments
Take initiative in identifying and implementing new scheduling strategies or tools to streamline operations
Collaborate with the recruitment and onboarding teams to match new hires with upcoming client sessions
Serve as a liaison between clients, BCBAs, Supervisors, and staff to coordinate overlaps, training schedules, and permanent caseloads
Notify staff and families of updated schedules and reroutes in a timely and courteous manner
Track and manage client and technician availability, ensuring alignment with service needs
Handle last-minute changes and provide immediate solutions with minimal disruption to services
Assist with staff interviews or operations projects as needed
Monitor session cancellations and follow company policies on make-ups and documentation
Maintain accurate records and systems related to schedules and availability
Attend internal meetings and trainings; represent Burnett Therapeutic Services with professionalism and warmth
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in scheduling or clinic operations, preferably within ABA, autism services, or healthcare.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong phone and email etiquette
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable speaking directly with parents and staff
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills; able to manage overlapping needs and reroute multiple staff simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and/or Microsoft Excel.
Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Bilingual in Spanish is a must

Position Summary
The BCBA position will be held by an individual who has the training, education, and/or experience necessary to serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional. This position will provide clinical supervision as well as oversight of the programs being implemented by the Supervisor/BCaBA and Behavior Interventionists. The BCBA is an individual who meets all of the following criteria: Provides behavioral health treatment, develops and Implements Treatment Plans with the oversight and guidance of the Clinical Director, and has training and experience in providing services for individuals with Autism, developmental disabilities, or other delays.
Essential Job Functions / Key Performance Areas
To perform this job successfully, the BCBA must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
Designing, developing, and implementing a wide range of ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays.
Collaborating with families and other professionals to tailor ABA programs to each client's specific needs.
Directly delivering individual and group learning experiences to assist each client served in obtaining his/her treatment goals and objectives.
Meet with, train, and supervise mid-level supervisors /BCaBA and direct care staff (Behavior Interventionists) to provide guidance and review progress on goals, determine the effectiveness of intervention strategies, and consult about the overall implementation of the treatment plan.
Conduct assessments, write treatment goals, analyze data and write progress reports, under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Director.
Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments utilizing standardized assessment tools including the VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R, Vineland-III, etc., under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Director.
Develop and oversee the implementation of behavioral plans for children.
Assist in the development of adaptive skills for the individual to take a more positive role in the school, home & community setting.
Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and/or school.
Supervise ABA programs to assist clients learn a variety of skills related to cooperation with daily routines and demands, coping with stress, play and social interactions, functional communication, attending to tasks, safety awareness, and self-help.
Empower parents, caregivers and other support staff to influence clients within their natural routines so they can be more successful, independent, and self-empowered.
Establish and maintain positive and supportive relationships with clients, all family members and any other staff persons supporting the client's individualized needs.
Define target behaviors and write treatment goals while coordinating evidence-based programs, reinforcement, antecedent management strategies, protocols, interventions, etc.
Model for and teach support staff how to implement intervention strategies and protocols.
Set up and maintain ABA session schedules for support staff and clients and manage planned and unplanned adjustments or cancelations.
Meet with families/caregivers in-clinic OR via telehealth on a weekly basis to review progress on goals, determine the effectiveness of intervention strategies, and consult about the overall implementation of the treatment plan.

IMAGING CENTER:

Checks in patients, verifies and updates necessary information in the medical record. Ensures proper client intake at front desk. Obtains necessary release signatures for any Imaged records. CENTRALIZED SCHEDULING:
Schedules all procedures for patients in a timely manner and following office policy. Accurately enters information about each procedure into the scheduling system including any special information about the patient i.e., allergies, wheelchair, translator etc. Obtains all information from physician's office necessary to schedule and provide services to the patient. PULMONARY FUNCTION:
Calibrates pulmonary function equipment prior to first use Monday-Friday including bedside spirometer. Maintains monthly calibration logs. Performs monthly bio-study to validate quality assurance. Performs spirometry tests including: FVC, SVC, MVV, and MIP. Performs diffusion capacity tests entering hemoglobin correction when appropriate. Performs body plethysmography to obtain airway resistance and thoracic gas volume. If patient is unable to get in body box, performs nitrogen washout to obtain lung volumes. Performs spirometry before and after bronchodilator to document change. Performs bronchial provocation using Methacholine challenge testing when asthma is a serious possibility, and traditional methods of testing have not established or eliminated a diagnosis. Infection Control- wipes down all equipment between patients with hospital-approved disinfectant.
ENDOSCOPY:
Assists in the management of patient undergoing endoscopic examination and/or treatment. Participates in preprocedural patient preparation. Gathers data pertinent to preprocedural assessment. Provides preprocedural explanation and education. Under direction of the physician, administers preprocedural and topical medications within the scope of practice. Assists physician during endoscopic procedure. Sets up appropriate equipment and instrumentation. Provides suctioning as appropriate. Assists in the monitoring of patient's vital signs. Handles all patient specimens safely. Assists in obtaining specimens. Accurately labels specimen with patient and tissue information. Delivers specimen to clinical laboratory. Performs ventilator assessments assuring proper mechanical function, therapeutic application, and efficacy while assuring optimal outcomes. Assists with transcutaneous monitor set-up, maintenance and ongoing monitoring. Administers therapeutic aerosols and surfactant replacement therapy as prescribed by attending physician. Attends cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries providing advanced airway management. Provides oropharyngeal/tracheal suctioning utilizing appropriate skills/aseptic techniques assuring proper secretion management without patient compromise. Initiates, monitors, and downloads neonatal/pediatric pneumograms.
PEDIATRICS:
Safely administers oxygen therapy by various applications (simple cannula, comfort flow, etc) while maintaining adequate oxygenation. Administers aerosol and meter dose medications as prescribed by attending physician. Performs and instructs patient and care giver on the use of postural drainage and percussion as prescribed by physician, assuring maximum secretion elimination. Provides oropharyngeal/tracheal suctioning utilizing appropriate skills/aseptic techniques assuring proper secretion management without patient compromise. Initiates, monitors, and downloads neonatal/pediatric pneumograms. Works in concert with the pediatric department staffs (Medical and Nursing) in supporting age specific interventions optimizing patient acceptance/participation and outcomes. Actively participates in patient/family education providing comprehensive information specific to respiratory disease/medications/interventions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Gathers information about the patient's social, psychological, cultural, environmental and financial situation for a psychosocial assessment and treatment plan.
Counsels individuals and their families regarding psychosocial needs and problems related to their medical condition.
Provides discharge planning, coordinating equipment and/or home care, placement of patient in appropriate facility, transportation, patient-family training, financial needs and necessary follow-up. Documents activity in medical record according to policy.

PSYCH SERVICES ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Formulates a discharge plan as soon as possible after admission in collaboration with other disciplines based on diagnostic summary.

Completes family/significant other education/support meetings on a group and individual basis as needed to support family/significant other's ability to support patient upon discharge.
Provides client and family with all necessary information regarding legal proceedings during admission to Kaweah Health Mental Health, including involuntary detention, 14-day Certification, Conservatorship process as well as possible Adult Protective Services or Child Welfare Services reporting.
Acts as a resource to the physician and treatment team to support all efforts in fully realizing the regarding the client's broad scope psychosocial and recovery needs and recovery potentials.
MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH (NICU/PEDS) ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Completes assessment for NICU within 2 days. Assessment will be done by interviewing at least one NICU parent.
Develops case plan with NICU parent within 5 days of admission that includes: family stress, environmental health and psychosocial factors.
Completes NICU progress note weekly.
Attends team conferences and rounds. Responds to referrals from physician, staff, family and patient, providing guidance for necessary social or case management services.
Identifies Pediatric high risk psychosocial issues and will have a case plan in place that will include but not be limited to the following: Family stress level and reaction to the child's hospitalization, social and emotional support available to family and patient, and support services needed and provided.
Documents pediatric progress reports weekly.
Provides psychosocial assessments to all patients under the age of 21 regardless of bed and/or service/department assignment who remain inpatient for three days or more. NICU families are seen in 2 days.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Provides assessment and safety planning for patients in mental health crisis. Includes writing 5150/5585 holds.
When eligible, supervises ASW/AMFT as assigned.
INPATIENT ONCOLOGY AND SRCC ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Manages the support groups; may be a facilitator.
Provides supportive literature to patients and works with American Society to maintain current information and available resources.
Community Events Liaison- Acts as a liaison between KH, SRCC and other organizations sponsoring community activities for cancer patients. Participates in planning and represents the Kaweah Health at the events.
Inpatient Oncology
Provides the communication link between the outpatient services and inpatient care.
Identifies high risk psychosocial issues and will have a case plan in place that will include but not limited to the following: family stress level and reaction to current medical status, social and emotional support available to patient and family, and support services needed and provided.
Coordination of discharge planning and linkages to appropriate resourced (i.e. American Cancer Society, Support Groups, Financial, etc.).
Communicates and works collaboratively with Oncologists regarding services provided including discharge planning and coordination /linkage to outpatient services.
Follows up with the patient and outpatient treatment providers once he/she resumes outpatient care.
Radiation Oncology
Provides psychosocial assessments and treatment plans for every patient encounter at SRCC Visalia and Hanford.
Provides comprehensive services and support that includes but not limited to: transportation, financial assistance, emotional support, cancer specific resources, and linkages to community support.
Coordinates equipment or continuity of care.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team regarding education of biopsychosocial aspects of oncology treatments.
NEPHROLOGY ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Participates in gathering information regarding a potential new patient for admission to the clinic. Alerts the clinic's nursing leadership of areas of question or concern in a timely manner.
Conducts and completes assessments within the specified timeline delineated in the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Conditions of Coverage by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).
Prepares initial psychosocial evaluation of all patients admitted to assigned outpatient clinic, to include hemodialysis and home dialysis patients.
Provides annual update regarding psychosocial status for all patients per regulatory requirements.
Monitors for and identifies patients at risk for involuntary discharge and initiates unstable status. Appropriate interventions are identified.
Collaborates with other community agencies both in providing service to individual patients and in promoting development of health and welfare programs geared to special needs of patients with ESRD.
Actively participates in monthly patient review conference.
Orients new members of the renal team to the psychosocial aspects of the patients' overall treatment and participates in renal in-service program.
Consults with other regional social workers regarding patients seeking to transfer into the clinic or out of the clinic or traveling and need clinic support on a temporary basis.

Applied Behavior Analysis (RBT) Supervisor
position is an opportunity for a qualified professional with the necessary training, education, and experience to serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional (QASP). In this role, you will provide clinical supervision and oversee the implementation of ABA programs by Behavior Technicians. You will also be responsible for developing and executing individualized Treatment Plans under the guidance of a BCBA, Licensed Individual, or Clinical Director. With expertise in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities-including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and other delays-you will ensure that interventions are evidence-based and tailored to each client's unique needs.

What You'll Be Doing
The ABA Supervisor position is an opportunity for a qualified professional with the necessary training, education, and experience to serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional (QASP). In this role, you will provide clinical supervision and oversee the implementation of ABA programs by Behavior Technicians. You will also be responsible for developing and executing individualized Treatment Plans under the guidance of a BCBA, Licensed Individual, or Clinical Director. With expertise in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities-including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and other delays-you will ensure that interventions are evidence-based and tailored to each client's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement personalized ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays, in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary professionals.
Deliver both individual and group learning experiences aimed at helping clients achieve their treatment goals and objectives.
Train, supervise, and provide guidance to Behavior Interventionists to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans, reviewing client progress and goals regularly.
Conduct assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland-III), define target behaviors, and establish treatment goals with guidance from the BCBA or Licensed Clinical Supervisor.
Develop and manage behavioral intervention plans that promote adaptive skills and functional communication, supporting clients in home, school, and community environments.
Empower parents, caregivers, and support staff by modeling and teaching intervention strategies that integrate into daily routines, fostering client independence.
Analyze data, evaluate progress, and provide written reports to ensure strategies are evidence-based and remain effective.
Establish and maintain supportive relationships with clients, families, and staff, promoting collaboration and a positive environment.
Manage ABA session schedules, making adjustments or cancellations as needed to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
Meet regularly with families and caregivers in-home to review progress, refine intervention strategies, and ensure treatment plans are implemented effectively.
Work primarily with children and adolescents up to 18 years of age.
Basic Qualifications (required):
+ 2 years of professional experience in implementing behavior modification intervention services or working in a similar role
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Early Education, or higher in a related field
