Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and office support to ensure the efficient operation of the designated facility. This is a part-time position, working approximately 32 hours per week, supporting managers and employees through organizational, communication, and administrative tasks essential to business operations. Must be able to speak Korean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate meetings and conferences (onsite and offsite) and arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, hotel accommodations, and rental cars
Respond to phone, email, and website inquiries, addressing routine and non-routine questions within established timeframes
Maintain assigned calendars and prepare meeting agendas and general correspondence, including memos, charts, tables, and graphs
Prepare, reconcile, and process invoices in SAP and expense reports in Concur
Assist with the preparation and processing of visa and passport applications
Provide administrative support for special projects and departmental initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience and/or experience in a progressive office environment
Ability to communicate verbally in Korean to support business operations, including interaction with Korean-speaking employees, vendors, and/or stakeholders

Instructors must meet and maintain all Florida DFS instructor requirements, as outlined in FAC 69B-227 & FAC 69B-228 instructor requirements.
At least five years of significant insurance industry experience.

JOB SUMMARY
This position is located in the Recreation, Health, and Wellness Division of the Parks and Recreation Department within the City of Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for functioning as a lead worker at a municipal swimming facility. Typical duties include: performing duties and responsibilities consistent with those of a lifeguard; preparing work schedules and assigning lifeguards to duty stations, and giving instruction in pool operating procedures, rules, safety practices, maintenance, and related matters; and overseeing lifeguards in the enforcement of safety rules and regulations. The necessary skills, knowledge, and ability and/or licenses and certifications to perform departmental specific tasks must be acquired prior to assuming the duties of the position. Applicants for this position must have completed Lifeguard Certification as issued by the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department, Basic First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED Module prior to hire. Ability to travel is required.

The City provides low-cost lifeguarding and Certified Swimming Instructor classes for those who are interested in serving as a lifeguard for the City's Parks and Recreation Department.
