GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Master Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting with them on their hair care needs and recommending products and services. The Master Stylist delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest's total look. They support the Experience Manager (SM) and Assistant Services Manager (ASM) through a focus on performance (service sales, and productivity), people (guest service), and process (operating procedures and compliance standards). This position requires a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the aptitude to learn and communicate product knowledge.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)

Performance
Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
Meet or exceed sales goal of $1250 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services by delivering exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
Support the execution of in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing industry trends, products, and services during work time, and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
People
Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate retail and service recommendations.
Serve all guests, including walk-in guests, in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop a partnership with skin therapists and the retail team to provide a total-store and well-rounded guest experience.
Establish professional peer and brand partner relationships that foster a shared interest in collaboratively delivering exceptional guest experience.
Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests in the salon and salesfloor.
Attend mandatory trainings and meetings to enable continuous professional development.
Process
Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures before, during, and after services; always ensure compliance with state board guidelines.
Follow established service protocols to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
Utilize appropriate booking and clientele systems to book guests for return services and for events.
Communicate any supply needs to the Experience Manager, ensuring guest readiness at all times.
Maintain outstanding store operational standards, including cleanliness of the salon, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, break area, and any additional assigned area.
Adhere to the Ulta Beauty dress code.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Job Summary

At The Wanderluxe Collection, we manage a diverse portfolio of vacation homes that includes Beachwalk Vacation Rentals, South Shore Vacation Homes, and IN the Dunes National Park Lodging, all united by a shared commitment to service, cleanliness, hospitality, and unforgettable stays. The Wanderluxe Collection was formed due to the growth of our flagship property, Beachwalk Resort, a storybook community of colorful cottages and beach homes just steps from Lake Michigan's Sheridan Beach.
The Wanderluxe Collection is looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee operations for more than 150 vacation homes across Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
This is a year-round, full-time leadership role.
Position Overview: The Maintenance Manager at The WanderLuxe Collection plays a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall positive experience of our guests. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of property maintenance, repairs, and improvements to keep our vacation rental properties and commercial buildings well maintained, visually appealing, and fully functional.
Responsibilities
Maintenance Coordination
Plan, prioritize, and oversee daily maintenance tasks, repairs, and preventive maintenance across multiple vacation rental properties and commercial buildings as designated by the General Manager & Director of Operations.
Partner with housekeeping and property management teams to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory.
Property Inspections
Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement an inspection schedule to proactively resolve issues before they escalate.
Repairs and Troubleshooting
Diagnose and perform repairs on systems and equipment including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and structural elements.
Coordinate and supervise external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests to minimize guest disruptions.
Serve as an emergency contact via the after-hours phone tree and respond to calls as needed.
Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with local contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
Obtain competitive quotes for repair and improvement projects, ensuring both quality and adherence to budget.
Budget Management
Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget.
Track expenses and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Identify opportunities to optimize spending while maintaining high property standards and guest satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure all properties comply with safety and regulatory requirements, including fire codes, building codes, and health regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols for maintenance staff and contractors.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage a productive team of Maintenance Technicians and Decks/Grills (Exterior Maintenance) associates. Create weekly and daily schedules & assignments to support efficient property operations.
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
When necessary, provide coaching and counseling, including written documentation and/or terminations.
Communication & Collaboration
Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with homeowners, ensuring that their concerns are addressed and resolved effectively.
Provide proactive updates on maintenance activities, project timelines, and resolution of issues.
Collaborate with other department leaders including housekeeping, property management, and guest services to align priorities, support operations, and deliver a seamless guest and homeowner experience.
Demonstrate strong follow-through, ensuring that commitments are met and expectations are consistently managed.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, or other facilities, ideally with multi-site or high-volume operations.
A proven ability to recruit, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
Strong organizational and communication skills, skilled at making sound decisions in the moment. process improvement and multi-tasking
Proficient using technology and digital systems (PMS, maintenance apps, digital communications, etc.).
A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
Flexibility to work weekends, and select holidays.
Some lifting required - up to 50 pounds.
Legally able to work in the United States.
A valid driver's license.
Located within commutable distance of Michigan City, IN or willing to relocate.

Desktop Technician

Vaco is hiring Desktop Technicians to support a large-scale Windows 11 upgrade and hardware refresh project. This project will cover several healthcare facilities. Technicians will perform device imaging, hardware deployment, and application setup.
Local candidates are preferred to minimize travel, but multiple locations are available.
Responsibilities
Unbox, tag, and image new devices using standard tools.
Perform in-place Windows 11 upgrades and verify successful installations.
Install and validate required software using SCCM or other approved tools.
Deploy and configure new hardware for end users, ensuring logins, network connectivity, and application access.
Document devices, activities, and completion status using provided templates.
Follow daily direction from facility leaders and coordinate with the Vaco support team.
Qualifications
2 or more years of experience in desktop support, IT field services, or hardware deployment.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Experience using SCCM or similar deployment and imaging tools.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
