    The Executive Assistant will provide executive-level administrative support for the Officer and General Manager to ensure continuity of regional office functions and operations. This position will also provide direct supervision and leadership to the office administrative team, including the Receptionist and Office Assistant roles. **What you will do** + Provide leadership to the administrative team; direct and coordinate work assignments, manage schedules to ensure appropriate office coverage, and review performance to ensure the efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff. + Manage the full performance management cycle for direct reports, including conducting regular check-ins, providing coaching and development, writing and delivering performance reviews, and making recommendations for hiring and performance actions. + Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for the administrative team, providing guidance and resolving operational issues. + Implement and support office and administrative programs and initiatives, successfully navigating and managing change within the team. + Provide high level administrative support to Global Practice Manager, Officer or Regional Office Manager. + Responsible for gathering, compiling, verifying, and analyzing information to prepare documents such as memos, letters, reports, and presentations. + Assemble and analyze information involving business plans, and financial reports, resulting in the final plan submission. + Monitor, review, and approve standard expenditures to ensure the activities of the department are conducted within established budgets. + Provide complex screening, fielding, prioritizing of inbound communications via telephone, mail, and e-mail to resolve critical issues in a timely manner. + Prepare a variety of communication including emails, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes. + Facilitate smooth communication between Global Practice Executive and group, and internal and external clients. This may include other board members, company executives, client executives, government officials, media, and internal employees. + Responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information. + Act as Notary Public and notarize various documents. + Maintain the security and confidentiality of calendars, files, records and files. + Facilitate document approvals and processing which includes but not limited to invoices, contracts and other confidential documents. + Manage schedules, appointment requests and a high volume of calendar meetings and events. Manage the logistics of large group events. + Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts of significant value for meeting and celebration venues. + Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare travel itineraries. + Oversee catering and conference room management for division meetings and events. + Arrange conference calls and related conference room set-up. Coordinate with IT to ensure A/V equipment is in working order. + Assist Officer or Regional Office Manager team with calendar management, expense reports, travel, meeting coordination, and signature routing as requested. + Lead and mentor the administrative team, identifying training needs and creating development opportunities to foster career growth and ensure a high level of performance. + Coordinate department related issues and complaints, such as operational resources, work stations, space assignments and supplies, and follow up that resolution has been obtained. **Qualifications** + Bachelor Degree and 5 years administrative experience supporting senior level executives required or; + 9 years applicable administrative experience supporting senior level executives may be substituted for degree requirement required. + Position requires ability to maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. + Ability to work independently; demonstrating accuracy, reliability, and problem solving skills. + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required. + Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. + Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels within an organization and with others outside of the organization (i.e. clients, vendors, business partners, community leaders). + Previous leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred. + Must demonstrate the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage others. + Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to de-escalate and resolve conflict. **Compensation** $60,000.00-140,000.00 Yearly The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. Be involved in projects with our Power Delivery Substation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges. **Your Impact** The Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer will share responsibility with the rest of the department to produce a product consistent with our mission statement and our culture. They are expected to support the department in achieving its goals of the department, maintain our high-quality standards, promote internal teamwork, and meet the needs of our clients. + Perform the detailed design of low to extra-high voltage substations including, but not limited to: + One-line diagrams + Schematics + Wiring diagrams + SCADA + Communications + Station physical layouts + Sections/Elevations + Cable and conduit plans and details + Ground grid design and details + Foundation plans and details + Structural plans and details + Control enclosure design and details + Lightning protection plans + Yard lighting plans + Bills of Materials + Site visits + Support QA/QC for deliverables to clients + Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. + Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. + The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions. + Shall learn, understand, and adhere to client standards and processes while working individually or within a team to complete complex and technically challenging designs **Required Qualifications** + BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree, from an accredited university preferably with a power option + Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering to build on + Candidates should enjoy living in the Burnsville area, or have a desire and ability to relocate there with minimal assistance + Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel + Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship + Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. + Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. + 0-1 years of experience **Preferred Qualifications** + 3+ months of relevant electrical engineering work experience; could be on an internship or co-op basis + Minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) + Knowledge of electrical utility substations and familiarity with substation design + Engineer In Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam **Disclaimer** + Relocation assistance is not available for this role **WSP Benefits:** WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.
