Other additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc. May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks, when business dictates. Safely drive/operate a 12-52 vans/passenger buses on campus and to locations off-campus and or out of town trips on a regular schedule or as assigned. This is a 9-month position.Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform daily inspections as required. * Fill gas, diesel, oil and charge when needed. * Promptly report maintenance issues. * Assist passengers with physical deficits on and off of vehicle, ensuring safe transportation. * Keep record of passenger numbers and/or log-book as required. * Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor and or designated dispatcher. * Complete all pre and post-trip inspections. * Enforce federal, state and University guidelines for bus riders. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.): * High School Diploma or equivalent * Two (2) years of experience in driving a bus is required. * Clean Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger and air brake endorsements is required. * Previous or current public transportation or experience with large passenger vehicles is preferred. * Must be able to work various shift, including weekends and out of town travel.
