The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc. Responsible for keeping vehicles clean, maintained, and completing daily vehicle inspections prior to operating. Responsible for keeping delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected secure at all times. Pick up customer returns, i.e., new, warranty, cores, etc. and fill out driver return slip. Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business. Clock in/out according to company policy. Other additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc. May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks, when business dictates. Stooping/Bending Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. Reaching Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward. Provides safe transportation for the clients and completes required documentation ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties include the following but are not considered an inclusive list. Provide safe transportation Completes Pre-Trip Inspections prior to each route. Checks buses at end of morning/afternoon routes to ensure no child remains on bus. Assists with taking children to their classrooms. Turns in all documentation daily which includes but limited to: Transportation Log, Pre-Trip Inspections, Transportation Roster. Maintains bus binder that includes required documentation: seating chart, up to date client information, emergency procedures, and vehicle accident procedures/forms. Ensure up to date client information is in the bus binder when transporting clients. This includes client face sheets listing authorized person(s) to take a child from the bus, Parent Consent for Medication Administration and Emergency Treatment form, printed maps to every client's home. Turn in gas receipts at the end of each month. Complete and turn in monthly inspections on assigned vehicles, if appropriate, on the last working day of the month. Immediately reports all transportation related incidents to supervisor. Attend scheduled staff meetings. Complete all required training in a timely manner. Submits Work Orders on vehicle maintenance requests and other problems. Complete minor vehicle maintenance tasks. Assist in scheduling/delivering/picking up vehicles at shop. Follows FCC and FPS policies and procedures. Maintains current and valid AR Driver's License and ensures the HR Department has a copy of this for their files. A CDL may be required for this position. The Shine Lab LLC is seeking reliable, motivated, and professional Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to complete local deliveries using their own personal vehicles. This contract-based 1099 position offers flexible scheduling, unlimited earning potential, and consistent daily routes. As an Independent Contractor Delivery Driver, you will pick up orders from designated retail store locations and deliver them directly to customers' homes. All deliveries are local, drop-off-only, with no installation, assembly, or special handling required. Drivers typically complete 12-15 stops per day. Responsibilities Pick up packaged orders from the designated store location. Deliver items safely, efficiently, and professionally to customer homes.
