Responsible for transport of fresh water and drilling mud to location securing safe and legal loads on a 24 / 7 on call basis. Functional Responsibilities Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of hauling with a flatbed truck trailer. Ability and demonstrate securing load with chain and straps. Demonstrates comprehensive understand of pre / post trip guidelines. Extensive knowledge of all D.O.T. requirements. Maintain driver qualification records and driving records. Employee will be exposed to outdoor weather elements, high noise and the potential of chemicals and fumes or gasses. Employee must be physically capable of lifting, pulling, pushing tools and equipment up to 50lbs in a safe manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers regarding concerns. What are the Qualifications/Requirements? Must be at least 23 years old. 2 years and 100,000 verifiable tractor/trailer or bobtail driving experience. No more than 1 moving violation in 3 years. Must pass DOT physical, drug testing and criminal background check . Class A and/or B CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsement. Previous fuel experience preferred, but we will train.
