Responsibilities:
Practice clear, concise direction for students to follow, ensuring students learn how to be safe bus riders. (Stay seated, aisle clear, hands to self, no yelling or screaming)
Follow route directions and report detours when necessary.
Call dispatch when you find a need to back up bus.
Complete the pre-trip form daily. Submit weekly.
Report all maintain issue to technician as well as reporting schedule maintenance items when due.
Keep bus clean and neat. Sweep, empty trash at least every other day and fuel when needed.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
The work year, salary, and fringe benefits will be consistent with the current agreement between the Board of Education and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. This position will remain open until the position is filled.
