Job Description
The medical supply driver is responsible for the transport and record-keeping of durable medical equipment (DME). Using a company-provided vehicle, the driver will deliver and pick up medical equipment to and from patients' homes and facilities within the Cedar, St. George, Mesquite, and Las Vegas regions. The driver is responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and assembly of equipment, as well as assisting in warehouse operations. Driver must be organized, pro-active, compassionate, courteous, and have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
This position is for primarily afternoon shifts with opportunities for weekend and on-call pay.
Requirements:
Current Driver's license in good standing
Proof of auto insurance
Clean driving record
Basic computer skills
Age 18 or older
Basic knowledge of repairing equipment and problem solving
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Duties:
Transports medical equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Accurately maintains equipment logs and other necessary reporting standards.
Has knowledge of delivery areas.
Displays compassion for families and patients in distress.
Properly and responsibly manages company property such as vehicles and tablets.
Excels in good communication skills when scheduling deliveries, educating caregivers on equipment use, and resolving concerns of patients.
Utilizes technology to perform duties.
Arrives to work on time.
Agrees to carry and maintain a well-charged cell phone.
