Knowledge of applicable procedures and state and federal laws regarding commercial vehicle care and transportation services. Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanical issues and their solutions. Ability to identify issues requiring resolution by another department or an external vendor. Knowledge of the occupational hazards of working with vehicles and the precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties. Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills with emphasis on responsiveness, building trust, mutual respect, and courtesy. Willingness to undergo a background check. Ability to pass random drug screenings. Ability to complete regular required policy and procedure trainings. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED; AA or AS degree preferred. Minimum 21 years of age with a current California driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of current driver's insurance. Experience in transportation services, preferably in the operation of a 40-foot RV. Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certifications (may be completed upon hiring). Preferred: Experience in healthcare settings. Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish.
