The CDL Shuttle Driver, under the general supervision of the Shuttle Supervisor, provides safe and courteous and on-time transportation to resort guests and staff to and from fixed shuttle stops both on resort and off, during a scheduled shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Must be able to communicate by radio and/or cell telephone.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Sugarbush Resort is seeking Sugar Shuttle Drivers for our upcoming winter season. Sugar Shuttle Drivers transport guests from their cars by towing a trailer fitted with benches to the top of the parking lot and back throughout the day. As a first point of contact for guests, a good attitude and an eye for safety are important! This is a full or part time seasonal position with a starting wage of $18/hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive the sugar shuttle trailer through the parking lot, helping skiers load themselves and equipment onto the sugar shuttle while ensuring the safety of the passengers.
Make responsible decisions about speed and direction given weather and traffic conditions.
Provide information on resort ski conditions, lift status, events, bus schedule, etc.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and sugar shuttle- includes washing truck and sugar shuttle as needed and the removal of trash and snow.
Maintain all required logs and perform daily checklists as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license: excellent-driving and trailer towing skills are required. Commercial driving experience preferred.
Must be able to work outside for long periods of time in various weather conditions i.e., rain, snow, wind, and/or cold.
Must have ability to crawl underneath truck and jitney to inspect the vehicle.
Must have ability to perform medium work involving exerting up to 50 pounds of force.
Must have availability to work weekends and holidays.

Position Summary
The Van/Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of RCT vehicles and for providing reliable, high-quality transportation customer service to RCT passengers.
Duties and Responsibilities

Working Conditions and Schedule
This position requires actively physical and sedentary activity in a variety of environments, including vehicles and a professional office environment, and exposure to all types of weather conditions, including inclement conditions. Driving in inclement weather conditions and occasional periods of work outdoors in inclement weather conditions will be required.
This position may require working in potentially stress-inducing situations and may require working with passengers who present challenging behaviors. Medical and other emergencies involving passengers or employees may occur during working hours; employees will be required to contact emergency services for assistance with these events as necessary and to alert their supervisor of such events as soon as possible.
Exposure to blood and/or body fluids may occur; in case of exposure, universal precautions and protective equipment/measures will be required.
Regular, consistent and predictable attendance according to scheduled work hours/week is required. Weekend and extended hours may be required as necessary to meet operational needs. This position will provide route coverage at all RCT locations, as needed.

Qualifications
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The minimum age for all employees in this position is 21. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements are required. A clean driving record and the ability to pass standard background checks, a DOT medical physical, and a pre-employment drug screen are required. Familiarity with transportation services and excellent customer service skills are beneficial.

Essential Functions:

close out deliveries through our electronic dispatching system using company provided tablet
Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with our company staff as well a our wholesale customers
Work within environmental standards established by regulation and company policy to safely deliver all products
Maintain proper ELD records using company provided tablet

Qualifications
3 years CDL Class-A driving experience.
Tanker Endorsement and HazMat Endorsement preferred but will provide training at our cost
Must have clean background to obtain HazMat transport
Must have clean motor vehicle record
Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
