We are seeking an experienced SAP Product Owner to support the design, customization, and optimization of SAP and enterprise application solutions. This role is responsible for defining functional requirements, collaborating with development teams, ensuring system capability alignment, and supporting end?to?end processes for SAP enterprise applications.

General Position Description
The Construction Operations Intern works with the Project Delivery Team and Operations Support Team to efficiently and effectively track project progress through a variety of metrics such as client submittals, physical work in place, client billings, and overall schedule performance. They will learn the various project documentation process necessary for a standard construction ERP system as the processes for various Client Systems of record. They will also develop an understanding of the client submittal process and how that drives into timely project completion and how a construction management is measured on both the client and contractor sides of any job.
Responsibilities
Supports the Quality personnel and the project using the Quality Management System.
Manages/reviews all foremen's reports daily to ensure all information is properly recorded before any income, cost, or inventory entry.
Monitors material yields and modifies operations to minimize waste.
Assists the buyout process, writes the requisition, and communicates all required information to the Project Team.
Assists the preparation of the 12-month cash flow schedule.
Reviews and understands the extra work billing format. Updates all budgets to incorporate owner change orders.
Actively participates in the development of the Four Week Look Ahead schedules with the Superintendents using basic logic to incorporate resources, submittals, approvals, lead times, restraints, and milestones.
Assists the Project Management team in processing and tracking paperwork including submittals, RFIs, invoices, application for payment, subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and labor cost reports.
Ensures all documentation is clear, concise, and accurate so all departments and employees can reliably use this information.

• Decompose project scope with minimal direction, apply best practices to develop and maintain product backlogs against which development teams will execute
• Document project scope expertly. Manage and groom a backlog of requirements specific to the product/ project.
• Break scope down in to user stories which clearly articulate development requirements and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams throughout product development life cycles to ensure that there is clarity of scope at every level (e.g. project, release, sprint, user story)
• Apply solid technical, business, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and contribute to positive outcomes for project stakeholders and development team
• Promote the ongoing development of Agile principles, and bring a strong understanding of Lean thinking and practices
• Facilitate various types of meetings and lead and/or contribute to Agile team rituals and practices, including daily stand-ups, demos/retros, planning meetings, etc.
Minimum Qualifications (years of experience, educational/technical requirements, etc.):*
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in system engineering, system or businessanalyst or equivalent OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in system engineering, system or businessanalyst or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a product owner, system or businessanalyst focused on commercial software applications/ systems.
• 3+ years of experience working in a highly agile environment. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Product Owner will be a plus.
Required Skillset:
• Experience working as a primary product owner for agile/scrum teams. Proven ability to understand business needs and translate thoroughly in to functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience in documenting software product functional specifications using agile principles
• Experience in managing and grooming a backlog of requirements specific to a product/project
• Superior communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, subject matter experts, and software engineers
• Strong analytical and system design skills, including a thorough understanding of the software product development lifecycle; excellent attention to detail and ability to understand the 'big picture'
• Demonstrated knowledge of current and available scrum tracking tools such as Rally, Jira and other project scope/ schedule management tools
• Team oriented, dynamic, appreciation for fast-paced environment, able to shift gears fluidly and wear multiple hats
• Rail Industry knowledge/ experience specially in the area of Train Dispatch Control System will be a big plus
Additional Obligations/Specifications (Typical work schedule, amount of business travel, etc.): 40 hours per week, minimum to zero travel expected. Some overtime may be needed but will be agreed on by both parties
