Business analyst/project manager job description

We need an extended workforce member to support REWS related efforts managed by Core's Ops team.
The extended workforce member would enable our team to manage the workload in this area while another team member is on parental leave.
The extended workforce member will enable us to further solidify Core's ongoing partnership with REWS, supporting Core's tremendous growth and ensuring we refine and adhere to our location strategy.
They will enable us to identify and timely address any challenges to the execution of Core's location strategy and lead important supporting work such as the new Core Site Lead Program.
Furthermore, they will manage the Core Ops site, which key partners such as the Chief of Staff organization leans on for guidance around deadlines, processes, and more.
Currently, this site is in maintenance mode and having an extended workforce member actively manage the site will enable us to create an effective comms strategy, for which there is a great need.

Responsibilities:
Partnering with REWS.
Partnering with space captains.
Running reports and analysis related to our location efforts.
Project managing major REWS efforts, such as Bay Area Restack.
REWS Communication plan for organization, coordinating with broader Staffing comms plan.
Initiate, plan, and execute new Core Site Lead program.
Manage the Core Ops site.
Partner with REWS on top-priorities (initially focus will be on Bay Area Restack but focus might shift over time).
Create and execute REWS communication plan.
Running reports and analysis related to our location efforts (not just REWS related but related to Core's broader location strategy).

Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in the field of Business / Business Analytics.
5 years of work experience working in business, business analytics, or consulting.
Project or program management.
Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp).

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager in Juno Beach, FL.Essential Functions:
* User interface to ServiceNow

* Expand/develop the ServiceNow catalog to meet user needs

* Business Analyst/Project Manager will build catalog forms to expand user experience

* Configure ServiceNow to capture proper attributes to fulfil business processes

* Help define and implement Policy/Process/Procedures

* Define and implement workflow and automation

Meet with stakeholders to understand their business processes and requirements:

* Determine the most effective way to transition non-standard IT business processes/requirements into standardized processes and technical requirements that adhere to newly established policies and framework

* Help stakeholders understand the benefits

* As a Business Analyst/Project Manager, you will create designs/wireframes to obtain customer and UI/UX sign-off before DEV work begins

* Perform UAT and provide detailed feedback to developers

* Adhere to aggressive release cycle to facilitate continuous improvement of ITSM delivery capabilities

* Test and validate release changes

* Identify opportunities to leverage ServiceNow automation capabilities to reduce manual tasks, ticket resolution time, and ticket volume, as well as to enforce policies and best practices

Manage project plans:

* Work with development team to ensure work is assigned properly and will delivered on time

* Business Analyst/Project Managers manage development schedule

* Facilitate team meeting

* Work with a development team approximately 6 resources

* Experience in ServiceNow and ITIL

* Experience working in ServiceNow, following ITSM/ITIL best practices and design, performing UAT, creating reports for identifying improvement opportunities or broken business processes

* Experience managing customer expectations, including enforcing policies and standards when necessary

* Experience obtaining IT business requirements and translating/documenting for technical implementation

* Experience performing thorough UAT to ensure all requirements are implemented correctly

* Jira project plans

* Workflow design

* UI/UX experience

* Strong stakeholder communication skills - including listening, documenting, interpreting, leading, following up, etc.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities to keep things moving forward in parallel

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Business Analyst (40%):

• Lead business process improvement efforts, develops solutions & makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
• Evaluate existing business processes by utilizing flowcharts and other documentation outlining current practices. Recommend ways to make improvements to increase productivity, reduce cost, improve time management, or make needed changes to other aspects of the process.
• Create documentation for procedures, training materials, and communication plans.

Project Manager (60%):

• Participate in project design and provides advice & subject matter expertise to achieve required business results.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams to successfully initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects.

• Manage project status. Generate metrics needed for project status, deliver project status updates and guidance to the project team, stakeholders, and sponsors.

• Provide superior service while managing relationships with end users, business area leaders, and other third parties or vendors to ensure deliverables exceed expectations.
• Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria, continually updates relevant business stakeholder of project status.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Undergraduate degree (or equivalent work experience) required; experience working with financial institutions desired.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in working with projects, process and performance improvement initiatives required.

• Knowledgeable in project management methodology/techniques and change management principles (Prosci, agile, scrum). Certification preferred.

• Experience with Visio or other visual diagramming software preferred.

• Must demonstrate conceptual thinking and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Must understand process and workflow streamlining, problem resolution and change management.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication/influence skills required, including reports, presentations, and group facilitation skills.

• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills as this role will interact with all levels of management, internal customers, and other stakeholders.

• Strong leadership qualities with ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.

• Must be initiative-taking and able to perform all functions independently with minimal supervision in a reasonable amount of time.

• Ability to plan and prioritize work, handle multiple tasks concurrently; exercise good judgment in all areas of responsibility; and work effectively under pressure and deadlines.
