Qualifications:
2-4 years of advanced Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel usage for documentation and data organization.
2-4 years project management experience, preferably in a sales operation's context.
2-4 years of direct collaboration with sales teams on process improvement or enablement.
2-4 years of Salesforce usage, including reporting, task management, and process tracking.

SUMMARY:
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for the Lean Transformation Plan at LSI ADL Technology, managing all continuous improvement activity and supervising the continuous improvement team. This person will provide direct end-to-end support and leadership to achieve significant improvements to safety, quality, productivity, and/or cost. This energetic and experienced change agent will be expected to use data and statistical analysis methods to drive continuous improvement decisions and activities throughout the organization. Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a high-performance team environment with management, program management, functional and production teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible working, coaching and mentoring LSI ADL teams and departments to complete continuous improvement projects around various business / production processes, customer facing problems, and demonstrate business value through the lean transformation and lean six sigma green & black belt process.
Use Lean Manufacturing concepts to eliminate waste within the value streams and improve overall product quality, manufacturing capability, and process control.
Define and prioritize potential kaizens and projects including financial benefit and process/business impact.
Mentoring and coaching plant leadership, green belts, or other functional departments on the Lean/DMAIC/DFSS methodologies.
Assist in the development of manufacturing processes. This work includes developing standard work, work instructions, cell layout, material presentation, control plans, etc.
Mentoring and coaching of project sponsors and SMEs.
Deliver projects to completion with limited supervision.
Assist in the collection and analysis of data for tracking improvements.
Works independently with project teams and sponsors.
Generate lean communications highlighting progress and success stories.
Influences and leads teams from basic to difficult or complex efforts.
Collaborates effectively at multiple levels of the organization through effective change management process.
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.

Product Development Process and Continuous Improvement Manager
is responsible for identifying and leading initiatives that reduce Vertiv's product development cycle time - the manager will be responsible for defining and driving Operational Excellence in the product development process.
The
Continuous Improvement Manager
acts on process improvement actions from many sources, including our Operating Model KPIs, Leadership actions, Lessons Learned, lean workshops and Kaizens. The Continuous Improvement Manager will use lean principles, identify waste, and continuously improve NPDI processes. Process improvements will be documented in Standard Operating Procedures, built into the Operating model, and accompanied by communications and training for process users.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will support on the job training affected functions for key process steps in the NPDI process. It is anticipated improvements can occur across any of the functions in the development process - not just engineering. Additionally, then manager may engage in assisting PM's in documenting their critical path, summarizing the critical path norms across the portfolio, comparing the complexity rating of projects to TTM performance, understanding root causes and recommending corrective actions for projects with high Schedule Slip and/or TTM, and helping to drive accountability for Schedule Slip and TTM. This work may will also yield sources of best practice to further incorporate into process updates.
The role will entail a combination of working closely with Business Unit Project Managers as well as supporting functional team members to define critical path steps, sequencing, and areas for improvement required.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will work closely with the GPDO team and functions to implement necessary process improvements and actions.

Position Summary:
The position is responsible for identifying, creating and implementing ideal opportunities within key accounts in the criminal justice and federal systems.
