Project Management

This role will also take the lead in reviewing legal documents related to development including, but not limited to, letters of intent, option agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other development-related agreements.
Financial Management
- facilitate and manage the project budget and proforma. The position requires experience in developing and reviewing budgets, cash flows, forecasts, and key development performance indicators including ROI, IRR's, equity multiples, etc. This role will prepare and work with leadership and other internal groups on the creation of financing packages for lenders and investors and will participate in public funding discussions and negotiations.
Reporting
-prepare investment memorandums on potential projects and present to the internal investment committee. Once approved, lead the coordination, organization, and execution of project progress by managing the monthly budgeting and forecasting reporting. Ability to learn and use existing development systems and controls and make suggestions for new process improvements.
Design and Construction
- oversee the design and construction process to ensure the project vision, schedule, budget, and return remains intact by working with internal and external design and construction teams to quickly address issues as they arise.
Due Diligence
- Assess potential development sites and make strategic recommendations to the SVP - Development. Analyze the primary and secondary markets the site may serve, existing zoning, ownership, demographics and competing sites. Interact with local municipalities and the brokerage community, as necessary. Identify and assess all primary risks to the development including on-site and off-site issues, entitlements, leasing, market, economics and timing.
Communications Management
- scheduling and documenting regular project meetings for internal and external team members. The Development Manager must be accessible and responsive to a broad base of stakeholders and communicate salient facts as appropriate. The Development Manager must be willing to travel and attend after-hour meetings (as necessary) and manage, train, and mentor junior associates.
Qualifications:
7-10+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in real estate, business, finance, construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
Expertise in the real estate development industry in mixed use and/or residential developments.
Leadership and management skills with team members, stakeholders, consultants, and government officials.
Excellent decision-making ability and judgement.

Long a pioneering leader, AFT is now riding a new wave of growth, driven by agriculture's most pressing needs and opportunities.
Position Summary
AFT has historically played an outsized role in the development of agricultural policy. At the federal level, AFT led the effort that incorporated a Conservation Title into the 1985 Farm Bill. AFT has also worked actively on other titles of the Farm Bill and on other federal issues, including farm viability, farmland access, and tax policies. At the state level, AFT had a direct role in the creation of 30 farmland protection programs and numerous current use taxation programs-and has successfully championed a wide range of legislation that has advanced conservation practice adoption, farmland retention and access, and farm viability.
AFT is currently preparing a multiyear strategy aimed at advancing agricultural policy at both the state and federal level, including through the next Farm Bill. To achieve these goals, AFT has been expanding its policy team, which currently includes the Vice President of Policy, Senior Policy Advisor, Senior Policy Manager for Conservation & Energy, and Farm Viability Policy Manager, as well as additional policy staff in several states/regions, and consultant support. We are seeking a National Policy Director to expand synergies between our state and federal policy work, increase the capacity of the national team, and provide additional strategic leadership and management.
Reporting to the Vice President of Policy, the National Policy Director position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and carry out the policy agenda of a growing, forward-looking agricultural conservation organization. In addition to working with AFT's federal and regional/state policy teams, this role will work closely with AFT's program, communications, and research staff.
This position is not place-based and can be performed remotely. However, if performed remotely, applicants should expect to occasionally travel (15%) for key meetings, stakeholder engagements, board meetings, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
The National Policy Director as both internal and external-facing responsibilities. These responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning:
Lead strategic planning, support, coordination, and integration of policy advocacy efforts between AFT's state/regional offices and its national policy team.
Contribute to the development of advocacy and communications plans, particularly with respect to AFT's state-level work and Farm Bill advocacy.
Management & Policy Advancement:
Convene meetings between state-level and national staff, identify and provide additional training and resources to meet the needs of policy staff.
Manage and contribute to a portion of AFT's federal policy portfolio.
As appropriate, review, contribute to, and approve materials developed by national policy staff.
Contribute to the annual budgeting and work-planning processes for the state and national policy teams and related projects.
Manage relationships with external consultants.
Oversee internal reporting and monitoring activities, including program metrics, executive team bullets, and workplan monitoring.
Assume managerial and leadership responsibilities of AFT's national policy team in the absence of the Vice President of Policy.
Support a strong team culture of shared learning, innovation, and problem-solving among AFT staff.
Communications:
Enhance AFT's recognition as a thought leader by seeking out opportunities to engage the public, stakeholders, and the media on AFT policy priorities and by representing AFT in the media and at events and agency, legislative, and coalition meetings.
Research, write, and edit white papers, public comments, and testimony on policy and programs as well as other communications materials such as fact sheets, presentations, blogs, statements, rapid response pieces, etc.
Fundraising:
Work with development staff, Vice President of Policy, and others within AFT to identify potential funding sources.
Develop and contribute to grant proposals, grant reports, and meetings with current and prospective funders.

Strong desire to advance AFT's mission by developing supportive policy grounded in research findings.
Proven track record of delivering superior results and assuming leadership roles in advancing policy.
Knowledge of state and/or federal legislative processes as well as state and/or federal agency policy-making processes.
Demonstrated strategic planning and project management skills and experience collaborating with diverse teams of colleagues, staff, and partners with flexibility and creativity.
Experience in developing partnerships with relevant stakeholders, such as farmers and ranchers, non-profits, the scientific community, corporations, and government agencies.
Skill in translating complex issues and policy to diverse audiences in writing as well as through meetings and presentations.
Desire to work as part of a highly collaborative team that values communication, transparency, and constructive debate.
Strong writing and editing skills, including real-time group editing of documents.
Willingness to work around a demanding schedule and deadlines.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to stay on task when managing multiple projects.
Commitment to expanding representation within AFT and across the agriculture and food system.
Ability to travel throughout country as needed (up to 15%).
If appropriate, ability to work effectively from home.

The salary for this role is $120,000 annually.
Travel
This position is NOT required to be in the Washington, DC area. However, applicants should expect to travel up to 15% of the time, including to the national office, regional offices, and elsewhere in the country.

You'll be responsible for:

Compensation
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $185,000 to $250,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Reporting directly to the Field CTO, you will be instrumental in articulating the value of Kasada's solutions to potential customers, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure.
What you will be doing
Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted enterprise accounts (i.e. large tech companies located in the Bay Area) and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Engage in Deep Technical Discussions: Leverage your technical acumen to hold your own in discussions within prospective clients (i.e. with senior engineers and security architects) when it comes to topics like bot detection algorithms, web application security vulnerabilities, and fraud prevention techniques.
Champion Customer Success: Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of Kasada solutions. Drive customer success and ensure ROI during proof-of-concept engagements.
Executive Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level and VP-level stakeholders within client organizations. Effectively communicate Kasada's value proposition and align solutions with customer needs.
Industry Representation: Represent Kasada at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Showcase our solutions, build strategic partnerships, and expand our network within the cybersecurity and enterprise sectors.
Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging threats. Leverage market insights to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Compensation
$150,000 - $200,000 a year (base salary). Compensation listed reflect base salary, it does not include any variable compensation, equity or benefits. Job Description
The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) acts as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products as lead by the Regional Sales Director. In this strategic role, the CAM provides current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi's products and effectively communicates the on-label clinical benefits of the products. As a sales leader, the CAM is expected to achieve territory sales by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, which includes delivering branded sales messages to customers, representing Sobi at local meetings, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Responsible for representing Sobi's products and services to a defined customer base, generating and growing sales and consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals within a specific geographic area and actively promotes the appropriate use of Sobi products to healthcare professionals in accordance with all Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines
Comprehensive understand of Sobi and competitor products in their therapeutic area, and an in-depth knowledge of the disease states.
Develops and implements a territory business plan to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals and weekly analysis of territory sales data to help prioritize physician targeting and ensure accurate reporting of physicians
Strict compliance with all regulatory agencies, state, and federal law is required.
Prepares territory budget plans for customer contacts, local symposia, and other miscellaneous external expenditures

Reports all adverse events to Sobi's Drug Safety department as appropriate per required guidelines

Qualifications
Located within the territory
BA/BS in business or science
Minimum of 5 years' with dedicated hospital selling experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry, with minimum of 3 years' specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
A CAM will have a minimum of 3 years' of biologics sales experience that will utilize a specialty pharmacy or 8 years with dedicated hospital selling experience. Experience with a transition of care/patient journey process from the hospital to the outpatient setting
Demonstrated history of high sales performance
Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary
Strong work ethic, ability to develop priorities, and manage time appropriately in a large, assigned geography.
Travel within the assigned territory, including overnights, which could be as high as 40-50% in some cases. Must be based in, or located near given geographic territory (relocation will not be provided)
