PRIMARY FOCUS:
To aggressively promote and rent Certified Rental equipment in a geographically assigned territory.
To increase rent to rent revenue from current customers while simultaneously prospecting for new potential customers.
Establish a business relationship with customers, new and existing, thereby increasing rent-to-rent revenue.
To generate an acceptable return on investment for Certified Rental.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Report activities in your assigned territory as it relates to customers, competition, major work, equipment, and the rental industry as a whole.
Ensure proper coverage of your customers through proper territory management.
Responsible for the profitable achievement of the Certified Rental budget for territory assignment.
To collaborate with the machine sales person(s) in your territory to identify rental revenue customers and collection of customer and field intelligence as it pertains to rental.
Communicate and work with your local branch in activities that pertain to the rent to rent business.
Coordinate with Rental Counter personnel to ensure day to day activities of rental are completed.
The RSR will be expected to represent the Company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
Submit weekly territory Rental Call Schedule plan.
Maintain Data Fax/Dodge reports daily.
Identify and Qualify Major Accounts for Customized Rental Programs.
Identify company objectives and on a quarterly basis have a strategy and action items for each.
Weekly updates in the CRM:
Calls
Lost Rentals
Promote usage of the Rapid Rental Arrangement
Participate in local trade associations such as (AGC, ABC, ETC...) and will attend the functions held by those organizations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and work experience in heavy equipment sales industry preferred
2+ years of combined sales or technical experience
Must be able to climb up and down on various pieces of construction equipment.
High proficiency in customer relationship skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Window applications,
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Possess knowledge of heavy equipment applications
Discretion in handling confidential company information
Positive personality, team player, problem solver, self-starter, outstanding integrity, superior communicator.
Able to travel overnight periodically for product training or company related business
Must pass background check, employment physical and drug screen.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Acts as the primary contact for the Region's existing and potential customers. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with delivered services, prospecting new customers, and expanding service, monitoring and inspection opportunities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Initiates, proposes and closes on renovation/up-fits, inspection, service, repair, small contracts and monitoring sales, including maintaining a suitable backlog of work proportional to existing service capacity and staffing.
* Actively pursues new customer opportunities through calling efforts, group presentations and introductory correspondence.
* Prepares, oversees and coordinates the timely preparation of all proposals for inspection and service work within assigned areas, ensuring uniform compliance with Company policy, procedure and financial objectives.
* Acts as the primary contact with customers within assigned areas, resolving service problems, identifying opportunities for expanded services and ensuring overall satisfaction with delivered services.
* Responsible for the maintenance and storage of sales documentation in the Salesforce CRM platform as required.
* Responsible for tracking and reporting sales as required by the VP of Sales.
* Maintains sales production volume to support Region's targets and objectives through sales and marketing of the assigned territory.
* Conducts annual review, audit and assessment of customer accounts when directed within standard guidelines prior to account renewal.
* Provides support and follow up to field personnel regarding the preparation of cost estimates, proposals, submittals, drawings, and other materials directly related to the delivery of services to the customer.
* Required to participate in pre-job start-up meetings to ensure compliance with completion of proposed work and prepares change order quotations as necessary.
* Follow up on change order quotations to ensure timely acceptance.
* Works cooperatively with the sales and marketing, technical support, inspection, and service departments, and related personnel on the delivery and reporting of, or the follow up to, inspection and repair services.
* Acts as back-up to Corporate Account Managers when required.
* Handles each transaction in a way that positively spreads our Company's reputation.
* Expected to keep our word 100% of the time and work every day until our obligations are met.

The position will require ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces, remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, moving to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another, adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions, lifting or carrying objects up to 25 pounds, regularly communicating with others to exchange information, repeating motions that may include the feet, legs, hips, back, wrists, hands and/or fingers, operating machinery and/or power tools, Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment, assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. Must be capable of operating a standard 1/2-ton pick-up for occasional delivery and pick-up of materials and personnel and hold a valid, unrestricted motor vehicle operator's license issued by the state of residence, and the manual dexterity necessary to operate a standard desktop computer keyboard. Work may be performed in low temperatures, high temperatures, outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and with hazardous conditions, in small and/or enclosed spaces.
