Qualifications
* BA/BS required
* 5-7+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required. Previous experience in competitive markets preferred
* Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement (Top 10%, National Awards)
* 2+ years of experience promoting rare competitive disease products strongly preferred
* A valid, US State-issued driver's license is required
* Launch experience or start-up experience is a plus
* Experience working with Endocrinologists preferred
* Deep understanding of all stakeholders in an office and ability to support them in getting a patient started on therapy within guardrails established by the company
* Demonstrated ability to both build relationships within existing accounts as well as proactively find new accounts

POSTITION OVERVIEW
The Operations Business Specialist works with operations department managers to help improve workflow and day-to-day business activities. The Health Information and EHR Systems Analyst program (HIER) prepares students to manage healthcare data and electronic health record (EHR) systems with confidence. Learners receive hands-on training in EPIC, SQL, Tableau, and Crystal Reports, building core competencies in clinical data management, system implementation, and reporting.
The program also introduces participants to technical workflows aligned with the EHR Support Analyst (ESA) role, including Epic optimization, system troubleshooting, and internal user support.
This expanded focus equips learners to contribute to healthcare IT environments through both foundational and system-facing responsibilities, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.
This program prepares students for the HIMSS CAHIMS certification, providing a strong pathway into health information technology and EHR specialist roles across healthcare settings.

This program consists of online classroom training and a remote hands-on internship/externship. Participation in both components require a commitment of 40 hours per week during standard business hours.
Eligibility Requirements:

Program Details:
Schedule:
The training program runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and includes a living stipend.
Commitment:
The program includes remote learning and remote hands-on internship/externship training. Accepted participants must complete 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours for the entire duration of the program.
Compensation
: $31,200, This stipend is distributed over approximately 44 weeks for participation in both remote learning and remote hands-on internship/ externship training. Stipend payment is made on OCHIN's semi-monthly pay schedule.
Benefits:
Eligible for monthly benefits reimbursement of up to $600 (participant cost only). Some restrictions apply. Also, Internet Stipend $35/month for 44 weeks
Attendance Policy:
Participants are not eligible to receive paid holidays or paid time off (PTO), all missed time will need to be made up.

Requirements
The
EHR Support Analyst (ESA)
plays a key role in helping healthcare teams use electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently and accurately. ESAs monitor system alerts, resolve technical issues, and support staff with tools like Epic to ensure patient data flows smoothly across departments. They help maintain user access, troubleshoot application errors, and guide clinical teams through system updates and workflow changes.
This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to improving how health information is managed. ESAs contribute to better patient care by making sure the technology behind the scenes works reliably, securely, and in alignment with clinical needs.
The ESA duties include, but are not limited to:
· Review communications from OCHIN and internal teams via email and Jira to stay informed of system updates and notifications.
· Relay system notifications and updates to appropriate end users to ensure timely awareness and action.
· Troubleshoot Epic-related issues in collaboration with end users and support teams, using Jira and other designated channels.
· Monitor and manage Epic workqueues including Interface Errors, EMR Errors, E-Prescribing Errors, Failed Fax, Charge Router Errors, and Claim Edits.
· Monitor and respond to internal help requests and departed provider pools to support data integrity and workflow continuity.
· Attach to and monitor the Default Provider In Basket to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
· Review and process scanning and indexing issues, including training end users on redaction procedures.
· Update and maintain user records (EMPs, SERs, Ella access) and system configurations to support accurate access and functionality.
· Build and inactivate user access as needed, following onboarding and offboarding protocols.
· Update Fee Schedules, Preference Lists, SmartPhrases, and SmartLists to reflect current workflows and provider needs.
· Request destination map updates and maintain Lot Manager to support accurate routing and inventory tracking.
· Assist users in optimizing their Epic experience through personalized support and workflow enhancements.
· Review Weekly Change Notices and update training documentation and workflows accordingly.
· Implement internal trainings on Epic functionality and system updates to support staff development.
· Create and modify letter templates to support communication and documentation needs.
· Assess existing workflows and contribute to the development of more efficient processes based on operational needs.
