Opportunities:
Accounting/Controllership - Ensure the integrity of internal and external financial statements while enabling business growth through tight product integration into Finance systems with effective internal controls, efficient processes around financial transactions.
Business Performance Analytics - Understand historical performance, monitor site health and translate site health trends into financial implications, and work alongside FP&A and other teams to forecast future volume based on site performance trends, and use data and insights to better the business, along with ad-hoc analysis requests.
FP&A - Work closely with business partners across the organization in setting financial targets for the company and maintaining that budget, forecast quarterly and full year outlook from a risk and operations perspective, along with reporting and closing final numbers on a monthly basis.
FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) - Partners with FP&A, Controllership, and Product and Engineering teams to provide strategic initiative support through scalable systems and processes, drive transformation programs, utilize emerging technologies such as AI, and deploy modern finance technology and data platforms to facilitate integrated planning, enable growth, and support business needs.
Internal Audit/SOX - Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, controls and governance processes across the organization. Collaborate with our business partners to understand their organization's strategy and objectives to provide valuable insights, improve business operations and effectively manage risk through our audit analyses and recommendations.
Risk - dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of eBay's marketplace by implementing advanced solutions to identify and prevent counterfeits, unsafe products, and illegal items. They work collaboratively across various departments to maintain high ethical standards and regulatory compliance, ensuring a secure environment for both buyers and sellers. Interns joining the Risk Team will gain valuable experience in risk management, contributing to impactful projects that enhance eBay's operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Tax - Support business partners to plan and implement efficient tax strategies. Develop and maintain tax policies consistent with worldwide tax rules and requirements. The Tax team is responsible for income tax accounting and tax disclosures on 10Q and 10K filings.
Treasury - Provide liquidity, protect & manage the capital & financial assets of eBay, while partnering with the business
Requirements
