Business operations consultant job description

As a Business Consultant, you will work with our customer's business and technical teams to meet the customer's pre and post-implementation consulting needs. Business Consultants rely upon their experience, knowledge, and effective communication to bring a confident and capable consulting voice to client engagements. Business Consultants have the ability to increase customer satisfaction by assisting with the change management process as clients move to Entrata as well as improving and maximizing the day-to-day benefits of using Entrata. Business Consultants are expected to obtain and maintain a subject matter expert level of knowledge on Entrata's suite of products. As a Business Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with many of Entrata's largest and key customers. In addition to the Business Consulting-specific responsibilities listed below, the Business Consultant also plays a key role in the execution of department strategy, projects, and improvements.

Responsibilities will include Provide a wide variety of pre and post-implementation business consulting services. Provide a world-class customer experience. Business Consultants will do this by building relationships and trust with your clients. By understanding customers' needs and processes and consulting with them on optimization, configuration, and best practices, to achieve a higher level of customer satisfaction and stability on the Entrata platform. A Business Consultant is expected to be committed to quality and uncompromising excellence by becoming and maintaining the status of an Entrata subject matter expert by being certified on the Entrata platform in their specialty area of focus. As an SME you will be relied upon by clients as well as internally by your peers. Research and test new features as well as troubleshoot issues to maintain your Entrata subject matter expert status and provide guidance to clients for best practices and workarounds. Demonstrate ownership and accountability by participating in internal department process improvement projects that have been approved by the Associate Director/Director and track projects in a Project Management Software.Expected to build confidence and trust with peers and Customers by maintaining an average overall (Peer and Customer) NPS score of 80.International and domestic travel up to 30% possible User conference attendance and Subject Matter Expert presence at client User Lab

The Opportunity

As a Business Operation Consultant, you will work in a growing, fast paced, innovative and collaborative environment that promotes problem solving to enhance the customer experience. You will work closely with the Reporting Product Owner to support department reporting responsibilities. You'll be part of a team that is responsible for complex and high-profile escalations, and you will perform the analysis, make recommendations/decisions and communicate to others which include but not limited to, leadership, agents, customers. Also, you will support Annuity Operations in compliance support or various projects and initiatives as an annuity subject matter expert.

You will be joining a team that supports Annuity & LTC Operations in a variety of ways including, Reporting, Service escalations, Quality Assurance, among other things. The team is responsible for ensuring we provide an outstanding experience for both our agents and customers. As a Business Operations Consultant, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Support Annuity reporting working directly with the Annuity Reporting Product OwnerAccountable to drive escalation analysis and resolution on complex issues Ability to communicate difficult decisions timely, clearly, and accurately with internal and external colleagues Develop recommendations by applying critical thinking to conduct analysis and weigh risk Increase the knowledge of others by mentoring less experienced peers in Annuity Operations by providing appropriate feedback and guidance Act as a subject matter expert on annuity specific initiatives Lead initiatives supporting department strategy and process improvement Demonstrate ability to analyze information and use data to drive key communications and decisions Identify gaps in processes/procedures and make recommendations for improvement Develop a strong network of resources/business partners across the organization and our vendor partners Facilitate and organize meetings with key stakeholders and business partners

The Minimum Qualifications

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000***Commensurate with experience

Core responsibilities

* Own and manage assigned tasks
* Develop in-depth financial models using advanced financial analysis and excel skills
* Gather, analyse, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations
* Demonstrate and apply solid knowledge of management frameworks
* Develop high quality power point presentations for internal meetings and projects
* Support the managers, senior managers, and associate directors in commercializing existing assets and advise on the development, market positioning and commercialization of net-new assets

Qualifications, experience and work location

* Academic qualification: Master's Degree like MBA
* Work experience: 6+ years, with at least 3 years of post-MBA experience
* Industry experience: Consumer or Automotive, Industrial Products
* Functional experience: Sales & Strategy
* Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or corporate strategy. Priority will be given to candidates with Consulting experience
* Locations Preferred : Mumbai, NCR, Bengaluru and Pune
