Allegro Microsystem is seeking a self-driven, result oriented Business Operations Manager. This position will report to the Business Unit Vice President and will be responsible for implementation and achievement of the quarterly and annual revenue and margin plans. The Business Unit Operations Manager will work closely with sales, strategic marketing, and tactical marketing leading the following areas for the BU:
Forecasting:
Develop and achieve forward looking revenue forecast and plan to ensure that key customers, strategic market segments and channel are supported in line with the corporate objective.Support Business Unit VP for Quarterly Business Review for reporting quarterly achievements, projections for the upcoming quarter, accomplishments, gaps and action plans.
Demand Planning:
Coordinate with tactical marketing group to consolidate and rationalize forecasted demand with customer forecasts, internal forecasts, and firm demand.Review the appropriate factory loading signal to manufacturing team with tactical marketing and planning group.Proactively manage constraints and manufacturing requirements across wafer, assembly and test. Drive the allocation process, identify gaps and champion prioritization to achieve Business Unit metrics.Support BU's New Product Development process and ramp readiness working with quality and product engineering.
Operational Excellence:
Provide excellent customer support through collaboration with sales team and customers.Drive operational excellence measured by shipping performance, revenue attainment, schedule availability, published lead times, inventory management, and improve overall customer experience.Work with internal engineering teams to create new product supply roadmaps, resolve material shortages, and manage backlog and other potential schedule interruptions.Contribute to continuous improvement of the planning process and improve operational efficiency.Conduct monthly Business Unit revenue and margin achievement reviews with the management team and support QBR for quarterly reporting.
Pricing:
Execute pricing and develop quoiting strategies to maximize BU profitability. Work closely with sales and pricing team to Manage and publish price book and quote guidelines.Develop and achieve forward looking margin projections.
Experience and Education:
The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/Business, Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, Procurement. Strong ability to collect quantitative and qualitative inputs, and independent decision making based on business objectives is essential for success. Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills are required. Solid skills in MS Excel, SQL, Tableau.
