We are looking to a hire a Regional People Partner in the New York City area to oversee the East Coast region consisting of 34 stores (Including: MA, GA, PA, NJ, NY, FL, D.C., MD, VA, LA, IL, MN, CT, OH). The East Coast region will consist of 37 stores by the end of 2026.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will implement and adapt People processes, policies and actions in accordance with company standards, image and local needs to maximize the effectiveness of the retail business. You will also provide expert insight to support retail structure to attract, develop, motivate and retain our workforce. You are traveling to stores as needed per business needs to support the districts. You will support not only HR Functions but also Recruitment. You will be reporting to the International People Partner of North America.
TALENT ACQUISITION
Implement the hiring strategy to ensure all key roles are filled in the short and mid-term with high caliber of candidates. Effectively conducting full recruiting cycle for candidates/hires, generating a pool of prospective candidates. Follow up of onboarding correct implementation in stores, collecting feedback of the onboarding program and ensuring an amazing candidate experience.
TRAINING & PERFORMANCE
Make sure appropriate trainings are in place and collect constant feedback to be able to adapt quickly to the always changing reality of the stores. Carry out specific training according to the market needs. Provide support and guidance to Store Managers and District Managers on the follow up, evaluation and development of their teams and have a robust succession plan for key positions.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Provide support to Store Managers, District Managers and Regional Managers with employee relations, conflict resolution and mediation when needed. Spread the MANGO culture and values in store ensuring high levels of engagement from all retail team members. Visit stores on a regular basis to evaluate the atmosphere and understand skill gaps/challenges in our teams and collaboratively offer solutions. Conduct the exit interviews to leavers to understand the employee experience, as well as identifying improvement proposals.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Follow up all stores have the company H&S protocols in place during weekly visits, making sure our employees are safe in their workplace.
LABOR
Collaborate with Labor department to support retail on updates about changes in the legislation, align company behaviors, and help to find new solutions to reach out store needs.
ORGANIZATION & PROJECTS
Participate in strategic People projects together with Internal Communication, Labor & Payroll, Health & Safety, Talent & Organization and Development and Compensation & Benefits. Analyzation of People KPIs and implement action plans with retail team.
REQUIREMENTS
-5+ years of experience in HR management in a retail setting and/or in store retail management role (must have in store retail experience and/or have worked in Human Resources for a retail brand)

The HR BusinessPartner is a key member of the People Team, responsible for delivering comprehensive HR partnership across The Travel Agency. Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day HR Partnership
Serve as the primary HR partner for all dispensary locations, providing on-site and virtual support to General Managers, Supervisors, and Associates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Advising and Curriculum Support:
Meets with scholars on an individual basis at least 6 times for an hour over the course of the 12-week program, with the first meeting in-person and subsequent meetings held either in-person or virtually. The focus of these scholar meetings is to check in on the scholars' Growth Plan progress, learn about challenges or obstacles to growth faced by the scholars and to uncover ways you and the program can help the scholar address those obstacles.
Attends all 10KSB modules, clinics and program events at CCRI to support scholar learning.
Connects scholars to external Business Support Services (local entrepreneurship ecosystem) as needed for specialty services.
Works with scholars to understand, collect and apply business metrics to support growth.
Assists within the classroom to coordinate group activities and support faculty.
Helps scholars apply course content to their businesses.

Advise CLAO, senior management and others within the organization on nonprofit corporate, compliance, intellectual property, governance, benefits, litigation, and employment law issues;
Support CLAO by assisting in handling various day-to-day legal matters and providing advice across the organization. This will include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and other documents, such as: sponsorship agreements, grant agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, and licenses and releases, and advise senior management on related issues;
Assist CLAO in ensuring organizational compliance with applicable laws and regulations, such as lobbying, regulatory and public policy matters, and laws relating to charitable solicitations in New York State and nationally;
Advise on risk management practice, liability, and insurance matters;
Prepare materials for Board and committee meetings. Partner with CLAO on management of Board and related committees;
Review and/or prepare for filing various financial reporting documents, such as the Form 990 and state registration forms, filings and reports due to United Way Worldwide, filings relating to lobbying compliance, filings relating to governmental pre-qualifications and filings due to watchdog agencies, such as the Better Business Bureau;
Develop and deliver trainings and workshops for staff;
Monitor and advise the CLAO and others on legislative developments related to nonprofit organizations, including human resources and benefits-related legislation; and
Assist on special projects with the CLAO, other members of the executive team, and across the organization.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
J.D. degree from an ABA accredited U.S. law school
Admitted to practice law in New York State
Seven or more years of experience practicing law in a law firm or public interest environment; preferably with a minimum of three years of in-house corporate experience
Applicant will ideally have a mix of corporate, nonprofit, and government experience. Applicant shall also have demonstrated interest in public interest law
Significant experience in contract drafting and negotiation, as well as experience addressing legal issues related to one or more other relevant areas of focus, such as nonprofit governance, grantmaking, fundraising, risk management, advocacy, and government contracting
Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, research and oral and written communication skills
Ability to provide sound legal advice, develop creative solutions, and exercise sound business judgment
Track record of demonstrating professional judgment and discretion in being of service to multiple teams and senior managers in a diverse and multi-faceted organization
Exceptional initiative and proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a collegial and fast-paced environment
Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team as well as independently
