What Does A Business Practices Supervisor Do At Baystate Health

* Development of work schedules and monitoring of job assignments.
* Intercept/resolve employee issues/personnel problems, referring questionable case to the Practice Manager.
* Kronos time recorder for all staff and Providers; review and monitor vacation requests and coordinate vacation coverage as needed.
* Responsible for all clinician Schedule management including maintenance of template and master schedules to ensure limited appointment bumping.
* Communicates with Access Services regarding practice call triage issues/departmental procedural changes.
* Understanding EMR processes and procedures, documentation, protocols.
* Supervise charge entry/billing function within Practice, as well as co-pay collection and insurance verification process to ensure that they are done accurately and timely.

What Does A Business Practices Supervisor Do At Exeter Hospital

* Provides support and assistance to the Practice Administrator and manages the daily operations and resources of the department staff.
* This position reports to Practice Administrator.
* Provides oversight of all department staff.
* Assigns responsibilities and develops schedules for staffing to maintain smooth patient flow.

* Oversees and manages the daily operations of the site including staff scheduling, cash reconciliation, charge entry, and operational checks and balances.
* Schedules surgery for patients by telephone or in person by performing the following
* duties:
* Coordinates physician, hospital, and patient schedules, to set surgery appointments with the hospital;
* Enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler;
* Verifies insurance coverage and establishes appropriate payment plans for patient payments;
* Pre-certifies procedures by providing clinical information to insurance companies;
