An active, verifiable teaching certification in Ohio for: Special Education Certified and experienced with teaching students in grades K-5. Must physically reside in the United States during the 2025-2026 school year due to student information security requirements with our partner schools. A daily available time block of at least five consecutive hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm EST. Ability to work a part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week during normal school hours. Responsibilities Presents subject matter to students under the direction and guidance of the teacher. Ensures that students are never left unattended in the classroom. Keeps students safe and engaged. Exhibits proper classroom management techniques. Understands building and classroom policy and procedures. Documents lesson plans. Maintains student records/performance. Follows the Individualized Education Program (IEP) of the student. Lifts, diapers and/or feeds students as needed. Qualifications Clean criminal background. Three (3) positive professional references. Experience working with school aged children. After Hire (Contingent) Ohio Department of Education Substitute Educational Aide Permit ($25), or higher license. FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 12 months (Cost varies per agency). Details Part time; on-call as needed, long-term positions available Enrollment in School Employees Retirement System (SERS)
