About the Role
We are looking for a Capital Markets Lead to build and scale the capital markets function supporting our small business lending platform. This role will be at the center of our financing strategy-evaluating various financing solutions such as public and private securitizations, warehouse lines, and forward flows.
This is a high-impact position where you'll work cross-functionally with finance, risk, and product teams, while building deep relationships with banks, investors, and financing partners. Responsibilities
Design and implement a capital markets strategy for small business lending, leveraging securitizations, warehouse facilities, and forward flow arrangements.
Lead warehouse negotiations and renewals, securing structures that maximize flexibility and optimize cost of capital.
Develop innovative financing solutions to expand lending capacity and diversify funding sources.
Execute forward flow transactions, managing end-to-end deal processes including modeling, diligence, structuring, and closing.
Partner with internal teams to align financing structures with credit, risk, and growth objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external capital providers and counterparties.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, or lending platforms (fintech, investment banking, specialty finance, or asset management).
Strong understanding of warehouse facilities, forward flow arrangements, and securitizations.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrated financial modeling experience.
Proven ability to negotiated, structure, and close complex financing transactions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in SQL.
Deep interest in small business lending and enabling access to credit.
Preferred Background
Experience at leading fintechs or in structured credit roles at top-tier banks or funds.
Exposure to small business credit markets, with knowledge of portfolio performance dynamics.
A track record of building scalable capital markets solutions in a fast-paced environment.
MBA preferred.

Position Overview
The BusinessUnit (BU) President at Cordance is the strategic and operational leader of their businessunit, serving as both its product and market authority and its executive anchor. Key Responsibilities

The EVP of Operations, Intelligence, and Support has P&L responsibility for a diverse set of products and services, as well as leading a rapidly growing and evolving organization of approximately $50M/year. The position is responsible for the development and execution of a vision and associated strategy to dramatically improve the cybersecurity of all SLTT organizations. In addition, the EVP is responsible for operating a fee-based membership model, engagement with SLTT technical and non-technical leadership, as well as proving operational support for additional products and services purchased from CIS by SLTT organizations. In executing the strategy, the position cultivates close partnerships with key federal government stakeholders, technology service and solution providers, as well as other organizations within CIS. The EVP provides direct leadership and oversight of a staff of approximately 50 CIS staff members providing highly technical, as well as non-technical components, as well as managing intracompany support from CIS's Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support organizations.
What You'll Do:
Develop a vision and multi-year strategy for improving security resilience for all SLTT organizations (approximately 90,000) through a collaborative process involving a broad set of government and industry stakeholders and close engagement with senior executives in state and territorial governments
Manage the execution of Multi-state Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) fee-based membership offerings including performance against service level standards, ensuring program effectiveness and efficiency, and managing financial performance
Work with CIS staff and stakeholders to continuously improve MS-ISAC program performance and the effective operation of support to MS-ISAC members from across CIS
Provide programmatic leadership and guidance on the execution of the MS-ISAC strategic plan including implementation of systems for tracking and reporting on the progress of execution and attainment of associated standards and goals
