Roles & Responsibilities

* Manage a team of 5-10 salaried reports - consisting of Mechanical Engineers, Quality Engineers, Production Specialist and Front Line Supervisors
* Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
* Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
* Develop research programs on the basis of a year
* Give input to business programs encompassing part of a function or a business unit and to midterm plan

Required Qualifications

* Minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations
* Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management/leadership experience

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Unit Leader in Greeneville TN, you will manage daily production activities of Weld, Paint, Attachments and Maintenance business unit to meet established safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and people goals. In addition, you will:

* Plan and implement new equipment acquisitions and insourcing/outsourcing projects.
* Manage physical assets and determine maintenance and replacement of equipment for the facility
* Manage budgets and cost reduction targets.
* Develop and administer manpower and budget models
* Facilitate the development, training, and overall employee experience of assigned team members in support of factory continuous improvement
* Measure and track department performance
