Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Provides Server support by maintaining the ice water, cheese rolls, side dishes and any other items as directed at each table.
Executes table clean up and setup in an efficient manner.
Transports trays from the dining room to the dishwashing area.
Completes any beginning or closing shift duties.
Assists in maintaining each service station.
Manages competing demands while putting the guest first.
Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and transport objects up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available for full-time, hourly Team Members on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Key Responsibilities
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the dining areas while supporting the wait staff and kitchen team to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
Clearing and resetting tables promptly to ensure efficient turnover and cleanliness.
Supporting servers by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining areas and assisting with any additional requests from guests.
Ensuring all necessary supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments are stocked and readily available for guests and staff.
Performing regular cleaning tasks in the dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and other surfaces, as well as sweeping and mopping floors.
Helping kitchen staff with tasks such as running food orders, organizing dishware, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
At the end of every closing shift secure all items and storage areas.
Complete closing duties.
Prepare daily purchasing list to maintain a healthy inventory level as directed by the manager.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor; and complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
Hospitality oriented
Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Technical food and beverage knowledge and expertise.

Job Summary
The Busperson/Server Assistant supports the front-of-house team by ensuring a clean, well-organized dining environment and assisting servers in delivering outstanding guest service. This role is responsible for setting and resetting tables with spotless china, glassware, silverware, and linen, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout service, and responding promptly to guest needs. With a courteous and proactive approach, the Busperson helps uphold service standards, refills beverages, clears tables, and ensures a smooth, welcoming experience for every guest.
Education & Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Previous F&B experience preferred (but no required).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Safety and Food Handling Certification.
• Valid Health Certificate (including throat culture results) as required by the Puerto Rico Department of Health.
Physical Requirements
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Routinely required to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must have the physical stamina and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
