Job Summary
Bussers, also known as restaurant bussers, clean, clear, and lay tables in restaurants and diners. They provide support to restaurant staff by managing restaurant supplies such as napkins, straws, crockery, and cutlery, and ensure that the restaurant and supplies are clean and organized.
Responsibilities
Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after diners are done eating
Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables, and floors when needed
Assisting with the cleaning and processing of dirty dishes and silverware.
Keeping the restrooms clean
Qualifications
Must be 16 years old and meet any other state age or labor requirements.
No one under the age of 18 may operate, clean, adjust or touch a slicer a mixer.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The primary duty of the Busser is to ensure that unoccupied tables are ready to receive new guests. The Busser removes dirty dishes, sanitizes tables, cleans the seats and sweeps or vacuums the surrounding floor as needed. The Busser will be responsible for clearing tables when customers leave the restaurant, and working closely with Dishwashers to make sure that there are always clean plates and flatware for each table. Bus used and unneeded dishes and glassware from guest tables to dish-pit.

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations; clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash, recycling where appropriate.
Set up and break down dining room and service stations, including moving tables, chairs and other furniture as needed.
Collaborate with servers to ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, re-set and ready for the next party.
Arrange tables for large parties and prepare the banquet areas for scheduled gatherings.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

Clean and set the dining room tables as necessary.

Maintains a positive attitude during business regardless of volume and needs to create great guest experience.

Minimum Requirements:
Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal members.
Obtain a New Mexico Alcohol Servers license and Food handlers Cards within 90 days of hire.
Excellent guest service skills are a must. Good interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills, Professional appearance, and communication skills, suitable for a fine dining atmosphere. Adheres to a strict dress code and personal grooming.
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience is preferred.
A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided with a smartphone of the company's choice, through a payroll deduction program.
All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-gaming license.
