Since 1965, Butler County Community College has served the diverse
educational needs of west-central Pennsylvania. As illustrated by the
slogan “The Smart Place to Start,” Butler County Community College
(affectionately referred to as BC3) focuses on transfer students. There's no shortage of variety in Butler County Community College's
academics. With over 80 programs of study, you're sure to find a major to
suit your interests. The school also has a few unusual concentrations,
such as Metrology and Parks & Recreation Management. Many of BC3's
programs transfer easily to four-year colleges. For example, the
Nanofabrication program is offered jointly with Penn State. Of course, BC3 is not just for transfer students. The college provides
courses for adults, including personal enrichment, professional training
and specialized courses in industry safety and certification. BC3 also
offers nearly 100 classes online, so you don't have to commute to campus
to learn. Several financial aid programs are available to eligible students at
