Become fluent with all brands, equipment, and services we represent in both our Ag and Construction business
Learn and become an expert user of all relevant business systems such as DBS, BMTS, AX and Texada
Job Shadow various departments and individuals at the stores and the corporate office to familiarize yourself with Butler Machinery business processes, programs, procedures, and culture
Develop relationships with specific customer accounts assigned to you with a planned approach set forth by your manager
Support Ag Product Specialists and Heavy Demo Equipment Operators with machine start-ups or demos throughout the territory
Complete all assigned Online Product Training to familiarize yourself with our product offerings.
Assist with setting up and participating in farm shows, trade shows and other customer outreach events throughout the territory
Travel required: Day trips to support neighboring stores, overnights to attend trade shows/training, and job shadows or support at Corporate or other facilities
Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Agri-Business or other related major in college or equivalent combination of business experience, training and/or education required
Basic knowledge of Ag Equipment, current farming practices, heavy equipment, or current construction/dirt work operations required

Promote Butler's full agriculture equipment lineup and product support offerings (parts and service).
Generate sales leads for other sales teammates.
Coordinate with Butler's service department to service equipment when issues arise.
Communicate with Butler's technical communicators and managers to help identify equipment issues during the Pre-Delivery Inspection and when equipment is in the field.
Conduct operator training and education for your customers, with follow-up training as needed.
Participate in corporate meetings, training, store meetings, customer care clinics, appreciation breakfasts, shows and other company events.
Complete machine start-ups for new and used equipment independently.
Conduct machine demonstrations including proper qualifications and spec knowledge.
Communicate through email to keep record of issues until they are resolved.
