Position Duties:

Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent and timely manner through our on-line database.
Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
Maintains confidentiality of client information.
Follows BE policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.

He/she is a standard bearer and holds leaders and staff accountable for the delivery of safe, quality care and services through effective communication, fiscal accountability, and employment of transformational leadership., instilling an accountability-based practice setting. The executive director of nursing serves as sponsor for performance improvement; inspires others to seek opportunities to grow and improve their performance and successful applies lean and evidenced based practice to ensure all targets pillar outcomes are achieved. This executive employs all safety first interventions and as the chief safety officer creates a culture of safety for his/her service line through the development/use of these skills by other leaders, physicians and staff. Your Job Responsibilities
• Answers the telephone and front window.

• Maintains clean and orderly work area; restocks returned medications, restocks work area to appropriate levels.
• Assists in maintaining inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies by notifying purchasing when items become low or increased usage of particular items in observed: utilized the “short list”.
• Maintains drug storage systems through restock and trouble-shooting functions
• Maintains Unit Inspections outside the department
• Makes scheduled rounds to all nursing units for the delivery of medications and the pick-up of discontinued medications and orders as needed.
• Makes non-scheduled rounds to any nursing unit as required.
• Perform charges and credits for floor stock sheets, narcotic sheets, miscellaneous charge slips, and returned medications into computer system.

Responsibilities:
As a Hospice Music Therapist II you will:
Complete the music therapy assessment with patient and family when referred in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care
Plan music therapy interventions

Evaluate the effectiveness of music therapy services with the patient and / or family-of-choice
