**Position Overview:**
The Tax Analyst will report to the Income Tax Manager and support the tax department's various income tax functions, particularly preparation of the corporate federal consolidated and state income tax returns with an emphasis on tax compliance. This role will also support the tax provision and other processes to assist in accomplishing departmental goals and creating cost efficiencies and accurate work products.

**Your Day to Day as a Tax Analyst:**
+ Preparation of the consolidated federal income tax return and related partnerships tax returns.
+ Preparation of numerous state income and franchise returns on a separate, combined, and unitary basis.
+ Assistance with the preparation of numerous Canadian corporate income tax returns.
+ Assistance with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.
+ Calculation and filing of quarterly estimated and extension payments, both federal and state, and preparation of quarterly tax payment reconciliation.
+ Preparation of the federal excise tax returns on a quarterly basis and remittance of any excise tax payments.
+ Assistance with federal, state, and local tax audits including the preparation of responses to IDRs and other audit inquiries.
+ Support of other tax-related special projects as directed by management.
**Required Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field.
+ 2 years' experince of corporate income tax-related experience servicing multinational corporate structures.
+ 2 years' experience applying general tax principles to federal consolidated returns, partnerships, U.S. international tax concepts, unitary and combined state and local tax reporting, and ASC 740 reporting.
+ Experience reading and interpreting tax law to ensure the company's taxes are prepared in compliance with current tax legislation.
+ The ability and desire to identify process and procedural changes to maximize operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
+ Strong organizational and computer skills (e.g., MS Office Suite).
+ Ability to work and communicate with all levels of division operations and corporate financial personnel.
+ Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for operating in a challenging and dynamic environment.
+ Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

What You Need to Succeed:
7 - 10+ years of communications or public relations experience, preferably with a B2B, publicly traded multinational company.
7+ years in media relations leadership with international media experience. Experience working with community and government relations a plus.
3+ years of people management with experience in coaching, corporate performance reviews, and career pathing.
Proven experience in dealing with issues / crisis communications.
Strong understanding of AP style.

Overseeing a global category spend exceeding ~$300M, this role is responsible for strategic supplier relationship management, procurement risk mitigation, service optimization, and cost leadership in logistics procurement. The Director collaborates closely with regional supply chain leaders, legal, finance, operations, and external partners to build long-term competitive advantage and resilience within the logistics network. Additionally, they proactively mitigate risk by ensuring contract flexibility, multi-sourcing strategies, and scenario planning for geopolitical and supply chain disruptions, securing a robust and cost-effective logistics network.

Train R&T members in safe work permitting. Coordinate permit training, tracking, and ensure proper coverage (LOTO, confined space, hot work, etc.). Conduct permit audits, LOTO verification, and permit retention checks.
Assist lab users with concerns or designs to ensure safe operations, and facilities teams with job scoping and planning.
Support hazard identification and equipment commissioning during Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs), lab risk assessments, and lab safety audits.
Facilitate root cause analyses (e.g., 5 Whys, FMEA, etc.).
Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and collaborate with the site's Emergency Response Team (ERT) to develop appropriate responses. Actively participate in the ERT as R&T representative.
Proactively identify issues and continuous improvement opportunities:
Conduct regular walk-throughs of R&T spaces to identify and resolve issues.
Manage safety inspections and ensure timely closure of action items.
Communicate with R&T and site teams to update incidents.
Anticipate potential problems and implement preventive measures.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, audit findings, and maintenance activities. Create leading indicators to identify areas of concern and preemptively address.
Ensure proper operation of lab and pilot facilities in coordination with site maintenance:
Manage R&T maintenance requests and liaise between R&T team and site maintenance team.
Walk down maintenance requests before submission into SAP, drive prioritized timely action with the maintenance department and ensure satisfactory closure of requests.
Take a hands-on approach to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues in the labs.
Work closely with the Capital Projects team for the installation/construction of new equipment and facilities.
What You Bring
Required:
Associate degree in science, process operation, or equivalent; or 20+ hours of college Chemistry.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in lab, pilot or operating plant environment. 5+ years preferred.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance regulations. Familiarity and/or experience with OSHA regulations.
Confidence to issue Stop Work orders when necessary to ensure safety and compliance. Strong commitment to maintaining high safety standards, even under time and business pressures.
Unafraid to speak up, take corrective action, and be accountable.
Clear and effective communication skills to ensure accurate information exchange, appropriate emergency responses and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Ability to plan and execute complex projects, including coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of computer systems and software applications related to laboratory operations (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP, Facilex, etc.).

Experience with laboratory safety and chemical hygiene

Director of Bromine Specialties Segment and Product Strategic Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of long-term marketing strategies that align with Albemarle's business goals, brand positioning, and market opportunities for specific market segments, regions and product portfolios, driving growth and competitive differentiation.
This role requires advanced collaboration, influencing, and communication skills to drive cross-functional partnership and collect insights from SMEs across the organization (Product Management, Pricing, Data Science, NBD, R&T, Marketing, Sales, External Affairs, etc.) to inform the strategy development as well as monitor and pivot execution with shifting market trends.
