**Your Day to Day as a Quality Manager:**
+ Manage all aspects of the Quality department, including:
+ Lead of up to six direct reports and 80-100 employees.
+ Execute quality processes for manufacturing, inspection, documentation, and planning.
+ Drive major quality improvement processes.
+ Report and assess quality key performance indicators.
+ Guide managers in achieving quality objectives and training their teams to support site goals.
+ Manage financial and operational hours budgets in compliance with QMS and audit requirements.
+ Continue positive customer and relationships and coordinate supplier oversight.
+ Lead corrective actions.
+ Represent the site for Quality purposes in internal and external events.
+ Present quarterly updates on KPI performance, department initiatives and significant quality issues to customer and BWXT executives.
+ Manage corrective and preventative action activities to ensure the organization is working to continuously improve processes to reduce and/or eliminate issues that affect product or customer requirements.
+ Develop and deliver presentations to the workforce and customer representatives, including but not limited to, Deliberate Malpractice presentations, Naval Reactor Reviews, Expectation and Product Quality Issues presentations, Need-to-Know (workforce awareness) presentations, and additional Quality and Safety related topics as required.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering or another technical field is required. Additional MBA is preferred.
+ Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, including three (3) years in management and five (5) years in precision manufacturing/quality.
+ Managerial experience in Quality, Operations, and/or Plant Management is highly desired.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.

**Responsibilities include:**
+ Responsible for development and support of manufacturing process plans in accordance with contract technical requirements.
+ The Manufacturing Engineer assumes responsibility for implementation of the manufacturing process and improvements to the process during the complete fabrication cycle.
