Position Overview
CESI is seeking motivated technical candidates to support the management of an IT lab environment in support of the US Department of Defense. The candidate will provide critical management of this system. An IT background is critical with core skill sets in networking and Kubernetes. Tasks will include updating the platform in both software and security updates, ensuring security compliance and User management. In depth knowledge of all of these is not required, but the ability to learn and perform tasking independently is.
Responsibilities
The candidate will ensure that authorized users have system accounts and the ability to access the appropriate system resources, specifically utilizing Red Hat IdM and Keycloack SSO products.
Manage an operating system and core application environment based on Kubernetes.
Provides help desk support to internal and external users.
Candidate must have an ability to rapidly triage user issues and resolve issues directly or when necessary, seek the appropriate engineering support to come to a resolution.
Required Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as information technology, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 2+ years applicable systems administrator experience solving complex technical challenges.
IAT Level II or greater. Security+ or other equivalent certification.
Demonstrated experience with the administration of software systems within virtual machine and container-based cloud infrastructure. Competence with Kubernetes, containers, networking and Linux technologies.
Environment is primarily built with Linux, Kubernetes and opensource software products.
Familiarity with computing hardware infrastructure tasks, such as iDRAC patches, troubleshooting servers, UPS maintenance, etc.
Basic familiarity with managing physical networking hardware and understanding network protocols (e.g. login and configuration of network switches).
Experience managing and troubleshooting networked storage systems.
Analyzes real world problems and implements solutions according to corporate guidelines and procedures, and industry best practices.
Provides professional-level IT, virtual environment, and network support functions.
Must be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and able to work with/manage a range of engineers holding a diverse set of skills at differing levels of experience.
Be sensitive and flexible to the needs and requirements of the customer.
Strong oral and written communication skills are a must due to the high-level of user interaction.
Ability to function effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
Ability to configuration manage, version control, and backup various scripts and work products created to execute and maintain the environment.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
Interact with vendors/users/customers and developers to understand needs and operational requirements changes that will impact development and testing activities, examine any relevant change implementation, then report the changes to developers and testers welcoming feedback for future improvements.
Ability to solve technical problems involving a variety of integrated software and hardware platforms.

Job Title: Commissioning Administrative Assistant (Cx Admin)
Duration: 1-2 years
Pay Rate: $40/hr - $55/hr
The Commissioning Administrator (Cx Admin) will work within the Commissioning department and will report to the Commissioning Manager. They will work closely with our Project Commissioning Team with startup, testing, and commissioning of the equipment, systems and buildings. They will provide training of the commissioning system to the user groups. The Cx Admin will verify that the construction is in compliance with the design intent of the contract documents. This position will be fully in-office.
Essential Responsibilities
The construction Cx admin's role is crucial for managing the large volume of data and communication inherent in the commissioning process, which can involve thousands of documents for a single project
Organizing and maintaining project documentation, such as submittals, design documents, testing reports, and operation and maintenance manuals.
Acting as a liaison between the owner, contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and the commissioning authority (CxA) to facilitate clear and timely communication.
Creating and updating issues and resolution logs, tracking project milestones, and generating reports on progress to ensure accountability.
Supporting the scheduling of inspections, meetings (like the commissioning scoping meeting), and functional performance tests.
Assisting the CxA by verifying that contractors complete their installation checklists and pre-functional tests, and ensuring all work aligns with the owner's project requirements and design specifications.
Utilizing construction project management and commissioning software (e.g., RIB CX, CxPlanner, Procore) to streamline workflows and centralize project data.
The Cx admin ensures that the administrative and logistical aspects of the commissioning process run smoothly, allowing the technical commissioning professionals to focus on the essential quality verification and testing in the field.
Qualifications

Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Must work well with owners, tradespeople, subcontractors, and team members.
Must have working knowledge and competency in field management software (BIM 360 Field, Procore, Latista, EXTO, Cx Alloy, etc.).
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex functional activities in support of Oracle RDBMS products and services, Oracle eBusiness Suite, and/or NoSQL databases such as Cassandra. This role requires a deep understanding of database technologies and the ability to manage and optimize both relational and NoSQL databases in high-performance environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oracle RDBMS Support:
o Upgrade, install, patch, and remediate vulnerabilities in Oracle RDBMS products and services on Linux servers.
o Manage and maintain a complex Oracle RDBMS production environment.
• Oracle eBusiness Suite Support:
o Upgrade, install, patch, and remediate vulnerabilities in Oracle eBusiness Suite applications on Linux servers.
o Ensure the integration and performance of Oracle eBusiness Suite with other systems.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle eBusiness Suite.
• NoSQL Database Support:

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be able to support USPS implemented middle tier technologies, including web and application servers, containers and container management technologies, messaging technologies, cloud platform and services, automation tools, scripting languages and monitoring tools. Current technologies in use include Apache Tomcat, WildFly, Oracle Fusion Middle Tier (OFM), IBM WebSphere, Apache HTTP, Kubernetes, Docker and other types of containers, IBM MQ, Kafka, Zookeeper, RedHat OpenShift, Rancher, Ansible, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Linux shell scripting, Microsoft PowerShell, JYTHON, AppDynamics, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Neustar and Splunk.

Education:
