As a modern-day Renaissance Man and Visionary, George Bye is an active proponent of the aviation industry. He has two decades of experience as an Engineer, Enterpreneur and Executive who conceives, designs, and develops all-electric manned and drone aircraft. George strives to innovate and pioneer new approaches and technologies to present new concepts to aviation audiences in various venues around the country as well as synergize new technologies that create extraordinary performance and value. As a fighter pilot in the Air Force, he flew many missions during Desert Shield and Desert Storm and then trained other fighter pilots. He is an ATP-rated pilot with over 4,000 flying hours. After leaving the military, he set about designing out-of-the-box aircraft, some ideas birthed on a restaurant napkin. George Bye's gift is to creatively propose and test truly novel technology as market opportunities. He loves to balance engineering services with internal development, research of advanced concepts with vision and passion. But most of all, he aspires to persuade people to embrace hard work to realize the potential benefits of a revitalized aviation industry for us and future generations. Bye has authored numerous articles for industry journals and publications, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Washington.
