C. A. Murren & Sons Leadership

Brian May is a Chief Estimator at C. A. Murren & Sons Company Inc. and is based in Greater Atlanta Area. He has worked as Project Manager at CFL CHEMINS DE FER LUXEMBOURGEOIS. Brian studied at University of Massachusetts Lowell between 1983 and 1989.

Evan Pope is a Survey Party Chief/Project Layout at C. A. Murren & Sons Company Inc. and is based in Savannah Georgia Area. He studied at Statesboro High School between 1999 and 2003.

Mr. Wertz has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He started building apartments in and around Phoenix, AZ. From there he moved to Sacramento and built countless custom homes and apartments all over northern California. After several years there, he returned back home to Colorado and continued framing. In 1997 he joined Local 515 Carpenters Union and became an apprentice carpenter. He advanced through the program rapidly, testing out on Basic Construction, Framing and Blueprint Reading. During his apprenticeship he was mostly involved with Survey and Layout, as in the past, but the projects were on a larger scale. He became a journeyman carpenter in 2000. He has worked on hospitals, a prison, manufacturing plant, hotel, stores, offices, schools and churches. On the majority of those jobs, he was in charge of Survey and Layout. He hired on with Shaw Constructors in 2006, he has worked at a coal fired steam turbine generator plant, an air quality control system at another coal plant and most recently he worked on a nuclear plant. He was part of a team of carpenters that took over all of the layout and survey work @ the Comanche Plant in Colorado. From there, he was referred to Morgantown Generating Station in Maryland and then Plant Vogtle in Georgia. The 1st new nuclear reactors to be built in the United States of America in three decades! While @ Plant Vogtle, due to circumstances beyond his control, the general contractor changed several times. Troy left Georgia to work in Texas on a liquefaction natural gas plant CCLNG. And now is currently back at Plant Vogtle with a new company. He is well aware of the many steps in the construction process, the importance to follow a schedule and do it all Safely!
