C & B Operations is searching for a skilled Service Technician for Small Engine Repair Technician to join our Ag & Turf dealership in Sioux Falls, SD. This is a great opportunity to join a growing John Deere dealership group. This role will perform repairs and maintenance on small tractors, skid steers, mowers and snow blowers and performs basic assembly as well. Essential Duties:
Performs set up, repairs and maintenance on small tractors, skid steers, mowers and snow blowers and performs basic assembly as well
Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties
Maintains current product knowledge
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
Loads and unloads equipment when requested
Promotes and sells the service department to customers including service work, inspections, and parts to increase customer safety and satisfaction
Delivers parts, run errands, etc. as needed
Follows all safety procedures and guidelines, and works in a safe manner.
Qualifications:
Diesel Technician experience preferred along with ability to work on CUTS, Skid Steers and mowers
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling

As the successful candidate, you will:
Works within a multi-discipline team to develop and/or review efficient and reliable electrical design packages for medium and high voltage substations.
Reviews standard substation drawings and equipment configuration requirements related to these systems.
Experience with industrial communication protocol, such as Modbus RTU,
Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP
Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
Create SCADA point lists, remote terminal unit (RTU) programs, human-machine interfaces (HMI's), meter programs, metering overviews, and calculations under the supervision of a lead engineer.
Develop complete design packages for site network and communication architectures compliant with the client and regulatory requirements.
Implements sound cyber security architecture and configurations on substation devices. Applies NERC CIP compliance requirements.
Reviews internal and external designs for code compliance, good design practice and constructability.
Travel: Travel to client sites as required.
You bring to the role:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 8-12 years of professional experience design, modeling, development, and testing of substation communication systems related to SCADA/EMS and tele protection channels
Knowledge of applicable industry standards including the National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and IEEE.
A high level of interpersonal communication skills, including a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to perform independently and in a team environment and provide project ownership.
