Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities
+ Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines. Use various loading techniques, such as loading tight or cross loading.
+ Transport self and/or freight continuously throughout the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
+ Utilize Dock Yard Management System to consistently monitor freight shipment locations throughout the service center.
+ Read and interpret shipping labels. Familiarity with, and in some cases ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, city stripping manifests, freight bills, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.
+ Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary.
+ Insure the quality loading of all trailers.

C.H Robinson is seeking a Software Engineer on our Bots & Quoting Automation team where you will support customer quoting automation including API integrations, web scraping, & email automation for 1000s of customers. The team continues to lean into LLM powered solutions for customization and generalized solutions and you will work directly on applying these new tools to help build out a workforce that combines traditional software, ai/ml powered software, ai agents, and humans to efficiently handle the fractured and varied logistics processes for all of our customers! Responsibilities: * Partner with product managers and principal software engineers to translate requirements into detailed designs * Partner with data scientists and data analysts to drive performance improvements for our applications * Proactively troubleshoot applications and identify performance and availability issues providing effective options for resolution * Tune performance and resolve availability issues of product or service and its dependencies * Increase code quality through writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests * Collaborate with other software engineers and teams on code reviews, development infrastructure, and process enhancements * Grow, push the boundaries and learn new things to apply to our team's work * Write clean, maintainable Python and JS code * Participate in AGILE/SCRUM process * Work directly on a product suite that drives revenue and cost-savings to the company bottom line Required Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience collaborating in a team environment shipping software * Experience with automation and/or human computer-interaction (HCI) principles & design * AI Native Programming - you both make use of tools like copilot and think about when to integrate LLMs into systems * Proficient creating applications and features in object-oriented and functional programming environments * Working experience with database objects in relational databases (ex. MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres) and non-relational databases (ex. MongoDB) * Proficient with GIT for version control * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and a high school diploma/GED Preferred Qualifications: * Exposure developing containerized applications (Docker) * Front-End (React) development/design * Exposure to statistics and machine learning concepts * Web Scraping Experience (ex. Selenium, Playwright) * You value Systems Thinking: how do different parts of the system interact with each other, queues, software components, agents, etc. * Experience with monitoring tools (ex.
